Words or phrases you hate?

I forgot this one, people calling their friends, "boss."

Like, "you're a boss," or "How's it hanging, boss?" or, "He's a total boss."

No, a boss is someone you work under, not someone you're complimenting. I'm not your boss.

Hah, I do that one a lot. Kind of "have" to; lots of people assume I'm a lot more arrogant and self-important than I really am, so I have to work overtime to put people at ease sometimes. Especially in wrestling settings, where it's important not to give the impression that you think you're some kind of big shot. It's just an act of self-deferentialism that puts people at ease in a hurry.

Plus I don't have to remember anyone's name, since I usually don't. There's "boss", "brother", "champ", "dude", and "jack", and I can usually stretch those out long enough to get through the day.

I confess that I still sometimes use "gay" in the pejorative sense, despite having no issue at all with gay people. I'unno, just kinda set in my ways, I guess. You hear it SO much growing up - at least where/when I grew up - it gets kind of hardwired. It mostly only slips out when I'm playing a video game and something cheap happens, or something like that.

I'm on record as saying that people who say "Funnily Enough" should be shot in the goddamn face.

I've heard other people complain about "boss". My coworker was complaining about "chief".
Doesn't bother me, personally. Usually feels like it's at least coming from a place of respect.

IDK, I've had a few people call me boss in the same way you'd say dude or bro or whatever. It's kinda weird cause like, I'm not above you or anything, and a lot of times they're helping me with something so obviously they're better at whatever than I am, but I just got used to it after a while.

No. Obviously I was referring to having a conversation, outside or something, when suddenly the person you're talking to, cuts you off to point out a passing segway. Completely kills the conversation.

Non-binary is just...not a real thing. You can't be no gender. You either have a penis or you don't, end of story.

I hate the words tiny, little, or small when used to describe a person's height. It grates on me like nothing else. A bit of a story about that- at my first job there was another, older girl with the same name as me, but even though we were nearly the same height, she was always called by her name, and I got called... "little ____". Because I was younger and newer. It was hella annoying.

This! The first time I heard it I was like..."what?" It's so dumb. And so many people use it now.
