Cowabunga! Just managed to snag one of the Early Bird sets as it went back up for order.

Not getting the complaints about a game using dice. That's pretty common.

I meant more that the odds of failing every single dice roll run are smaller with a bigger number of rolls.

It can still happen, but odds are, even if you lose more rolls compared to your enemy, it can still be a relatively close percentage over a period of many rolls.

IDW Games hinted in the Kickstarter comments that Krang wasn't planned for this set. Which is kinda a shame. But hopefully that means one of the future expansions for the game is a Technodrome set with General Krang, Captain Tragg, Sergeant Granitor, and so on.

In wich case proving you are a Technodrome member since before the game was announced should grant us a discount cupon.
AND THIS SHOULD HAPPEN

Totally get what you mean. I'm just saying, the less you roll the dice, the more of a strategy game it is. There's nothing wrong with the system in place. I'm sure it will be fun and I'll enjoy the hell out of it But rerolls doesn't equate strategy. You can try your best to manipulate your luck, but its still luck.

Compare a game of Risk to a game of Smallworld, for example. Both have dice. Both have strategy. But your choices and outcomes in Smallworld are far more under your control compared to Risk.

There's nothing wrong with dice. I'm not trying to bash. Dice rolling is fun Just saying, my preference would be to minimize the dice rolling, not amplify it.

On the game's facebookpage there's a pool for future expansions.
Make sure to rise your voices there, this far Turtles in Time and Dimension X are winning, but I just incorporated Mazes and Mutants to the list

Not sure how likely Mazes and Mutants would be. Since it's not IDW material.

I know it's not IDW comics material, but it is propertry of the same license and therefore far more achiveable than a Batman crossover campaign.
Plus it would make hella sense to have an RPG based set/cameo on a TMNT board game

You don't know for sure what is included/alllowed for their particular license.

The game might only be allowed to use material from IDW specific. Licenses can be complicated.

IDW Games just posted Old Hob's character card on Twitter.

His "Cunning" ability will come in handy. Especially with he Mousers.

Confirmed on KS that they don't have the Toon rights. Likely goes for all toons.

We don't have TMNT toon rights, but if we did Ace Duck would be in every box forever.

When asked in the KS about the potential of a Mazes & Mutants expansion

Mutanimals & In Time would be MUCH easier.

Given that expansion themself are all future projects, the door doesn't seem completely shut.

Wich would be you most wanted ones?

Feel a bit dumb for asking but could someone link me to the Facebook page? I couldn't find it, which is embarrassing to me

looks like mousers for The Works is pretty guaranteed with needing only 7 thousand with 15 days left.

I'm thinking about backing... I just don't know if I'd ever be able to carve out the time to actually play with a group. and those expansion packs are awfully expensive that they talked about. $18 for one uncolored miniature and some dice? O.o

I really wonder how balanced this game will feel, cause Raphael seems OP.

If we back and they see we are Technodrome members since before the game was even announced, maybe we can get a cupon to purchase the Technodrome expansion when it comes out! XD

Back the game!

He seems like it at first, but he actually only gets access to one more action die than the other heroes. The dice that are shared between players are useable by both, so heroes normally get 5 dice while Raph gets 6. He's also the least skilled of the turtles, so he won't be able to use as many card abilities as the others.

I noticed they are treating Old Hob as a villain, isn't kind of the anti-hero type? since he started the Mutanimals group.
