Sending payment when I get home. Went to send it last night after I asked for the total but Paypal was down for maintenance.

Got mine in the post today. A stellar job, thanks very much for this, DA & all others who worked on this!
Story itself is pretty good, and the way its put together its just like a proper Tales issue. It was so weird reading through, it felt so official, I miss my monthly Tales fix. There is a slight pixelation to the art, which after a coupla pages is forgotten about, and other than that - amazing! Thanks again for this, guys! The frontispiece art was great by the way. These are about the adverts by the way, which I was quite surprised by, so i'll stick it in spoilers. May be uneeded, but still: Spoiler:

Not digging the idea of Odyssey at all. Seems like a quick and cheap way to wrap up Volume 4 by showing an aftermath of sorts. I'd rather PL himself close out the Mirage run rather than anyone else.

Odyssey isn't really an end to Volume 4, from what I can see anyway, but a way to explain the differing "future events" of the Turtles' lives.
So which is it Andy?

My guess is that it's gonna focus on what happens to Mike, seeing how he's the only turtle whos life in old age has never been delved into.
Or of course it could be exactly what it looks like, a vol. 4 conclusion. Either way I'm both surprised & excited.

Odyssey looks amazing. I mean, I remember saying farewell to Lawson's TMNT art while reading Tales #70... seeing his work in those panels gives me chills. Can not wait for that comic. And since it'll all be produced in America, we won't have to pay as much for it
I guess this means we have Image #25, Odyssey, vs. Predator, AND The Forever War on the way. Wow, thanks a lot Andrew, all under-appreciated/misunderstood comic book franchises deserve a fan like you. |

Yes, I still have a few copies. All I can say now, it's not the conclusion or some sort of aftermath for Volume 4. So, don't judge the book. Last edited by Demon-Alukard; 07-05-2011 at 05:59 PM. |

I don't want to talk too much about "Odyssey" yet (or hijack DA's thread), but Jim is quite a ways into it. As has been said, though, it's not a Volume 4 conclusion whatsoever (none of the dangling plot threads there are resolved here and all the lingering "mysteries" there are left intact)... though it is a conclusion in a bigger sense. Yes, there are duotones on every page, I've always been a big advocate of those. When the time is right it will be pitched to IDW.
What I will say: the future Turtles (the very future Turtles) are the stars, there's a lot of time travel, dimensional travel, and an old nemesis more powerful than ever. And stakes that have never been higher. Oh... and there's a cowlick.

Man, all this stuff should be pitched to IDW. If only there was some way to see it all officially published and mass-printed for tons of fans outside these forums.
