Lately, all Josh Gad (Frozen, Beauty and the Beast) has been doing is saying how much he wants to play the Penguin in this film. Now he's trolling Matt Reeves about it on Twitter.

I think Penguin would be a much better fit for a Birds of Prey movie. Comics have done that plenty of times.

Oswald Cobblepot versus Barbara Gordon, Cassandra Cain, Evelyn Crawford, Dinah Lance, Helena Bertinelli...

Its more like a finalized script that TPTB at Warner Bros. are fully confident in. There was that script which had Deathstroke place Batman in Arkham Asylum that Ben Affleck worked on with Geoff Johns.

I prefer DC by far,but Marvel is king of the cinema!

Unadapted Bat Rogues! Mad Hatter, Man-Bat, Clayface, Hugo Strange, Black Mask,Hush, and Firefly are all worth playing an A or B villain in a Batman film. Even Killer Moth in a minor role.

Goddammit, "The Batman" is STILL at the same place it's been at for like years now. Reeves said Affleck is "my guy." Affleck has said, "I'll do it if the script is good."

At this point, there are two things every single human being on Earth knows about Batman:

His origin story... and that he may or may not be played by Ben Affleck. Tribes deep in the Amazon who have never had contact with the modern world? Hell, even they know Bruce Wayne's parents got killed in an alleyway AND that Ben Affleck may or may not continue playing Batman.
