Hello everybody. I was wondering if anybody had seen this bag before? Curious if it was ever released for sale. The inside says “Sample Not for sale”. Any info would be great. Thanks!!

I can't say for certain, but I'm almost positive I had that bag as a kid. The weird snake on Leo is forever burned into my memory. Although, maybe this artwork was printed on something else?

It's possible you got the "floor model" which wasn't for sale at the retail store these were being sold at.

I don’t know anything about this besides the fact that the Mirage Studios EBay was auctioning one of these a few days ago.

It could also be a production sample from the factory that a company reviews before going into production and says not for sale to keep an employee from letting it go at a trade show.

the funny thing is that the snake, in its action figure form, was mikey's sidekick and not leo's .

I agree with propguy, it is most likely a production sample. I have seen Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Sports duffle bags and hip pouches on eBay quite often lately. This bag had to be made in 1993 and sold in late ‘93 or early ‘94.
