So if Toad Baron has doors that reach all of his sibs, why did they all have to travel to him for the party?

They have a dramatic flair?
Probably could ask Bobby about that.

I imagine that the doors are one of those "one way ticket" deals. Once you go through, you can't go back the way you came. That and the Party was at his place, have you ever heard of a party where the host picks up all the guests?

I'm pretty sure it's called "Bar Night"
"Get in the wagon, petulant fools! We are going to indulge in the finest of drinks!"

Thats one powerful ward T.B. has there. pretty useful for anyone who tries to touch him, I imagine there is a way around it with Magic because even he doesn't strike me as someone who would let long ranged fighting get the better of him.
Spoiler:

Wouldn't that just doom her to being another one of IDW's dead moms, though? Considering that Gabriella bled to death giving birth to Shadow?

Tang Shen, who as we know was Hamato Yoshi's wife, is the Turtles actual mother in this incarnation. She is of course dead as always by Shredder's hand, but she appeared as a spiritual ghost in a few issues.

You clearly haven't seen my rants about that problem
Tang Shen - Dead - Murdered by the Foot Turtles have a fairly complicated relationship with their father, which is going sour. Casey's mom - Dead - Cancer Casey's father is physically and emotionally abusive Angel's mom - Dead - Hit by a car Dad barely shown? Alopex's mom - Dead - Forest fire set by Saki And so is the rest of her family Saki's mom - Never shown, probably dead in Secret History of the Foot Clan Sour relationship with his father Krang's mom - Never shown, probably dead at the time of various flashbacks Where do I even begin with Krang's relationship with his father? Pantheon's mom - Not discussed, probably dead, but is implied to be a Phoenix in a painting so that might not last They're terrified by the idea of their father's return to the mortal realm, save for Kitsune It seems like April's mother is the only one that's alive, well, and present in the story. And not only that, has a healthy relationship with both of her parents. Karai's parents are both alive, but she doesn't seem to talk to them anymore. It's kind of a disturbing trend of "dead mom, bad relationship with dad" for a story that's "All about the importance of family". I mean, Casey has the spirit to be a good dad, but I'd rather not have that at the expense of Jennika/Gabrielle dying in childbirth. Especially with her being as bad@$$ as she is. My feelings about the 7/9 mom characters being dead (or potentially) basically feels like this

Ahhh, small correction on that, Karai's dad is dead, we saw it in the micro issue. Her mom is implied to still be alive, thoguh Karai didn't seem to get along with her at all.

Yeah Karai said Yori died from the stress of her taking The Foot from him.

The Pantheon is definitely my favorite contribution IDW's made to TMNT lore. Anything to do with them just totally hooks me. & I think I've come to the conclusion that Toad Baron in particular is my favorite character in the series.
Seeing him on his throne brought to mind Aska's stage design from TMNT Tournament Fighters on SNES: I'm guessing it's coincidence that there's a mystical place where a giant amphibian looms over all. Love it. Seeing Mikey take part in the beast feast was a very Mikey moment, got a big kick out of that. A lot of great faces in here, the turtle reactions throughout their scenes with TB were wonderfully expressive.

Likely. Big frogs are an old ninja trope, going back to the tale of Jiraiya the Gallant in 1806. So yeah, Toad Baron and the big one in Aska's stage aren't related... but I like the similarity.
