Not to mention David and LeSean being credited on the covers, and the description for the issue being the synopsis of Dreamwave's #1....

No but I am seriously questioning why I even bother making new threads. How do you completely change the subject based on an obvious misconception a quarter of a page in, then argue over wheter or not the misconception even was a misconception for the rest of the page? I might as well start threads titled "Glitter colored farts from a spider's nose" around here...

Thanks! So maybe IDW acquired the rights to those in the sale from Mirage?

I can’t even read the link thread properly since the pics wouldn’t load and it’s overall a mess. Is it even the same comics?
Anyway, I posted facts and it states as such. End of story. You could be right. But why did they erase the early dates if it’s true? |

WTF, when did IDW reprint these? I don't ever remember a topic on IDW bringing this back on the comic book threads. You guys have been slacking horribly.

You see Archer Season 8 yet? Dreamland?
Hoo boy... never thought I'd like to see the day that an entire season fell flat. But man. Somebody needed to hear the pitch for the season, calmly nod, and then tell them:

We watch it literally every day, since it's on FX constantly. I'm quite sure I've seen the entire series at least eight to a dozen times.
Some are better than others.

An IDW/Mirage hybrid would be too much, because IDW in and of itself is a hybrid of every single TMNT iteration ever. So in my opinion... no, it wouldn't work.

Well I mean, I'm not really talking about combining the stories themselves. I'm just talking about filling gaps in the IDW storyline with standalone Mirage stories. If IDW lifts from Mirage in the first place and there aren't any contradictions, it shouldn't be too jarring. If it is, then the Mirage based episodes could just be skipped.

"IDW/Mirage hybrid" is an oxymoron. IDW is nothing if not "hybrid everything, mostly Fred Wolf." Including Mirage.
And no. Dumb. Unless we just mean "Let's do Mirage, but add the reincarnation angle. Nothing else." I'd get behind that.

Neatoman I know you like the IDW series but I can't see it working because I feel that comic doesn't have enough to distinguish itself enough from other iterations of TMNT. Plus while I'm not an expert on the IDW series the Mirage one was much more raw in tone.
