Is Pimiko the single worst character design in the entire franchise?

I think I'm most partial to the Purple Suit era.

Good LORD, she had some Tig Ol' Bitties in that Purple Suit Era. Not a bad caboose, either. ((Whistles)) I don't mind the leather catsuit and goggles stuff that's more recent, but... I prefer it when I can see her nipples. Not gonna lie.

Recently they dropped the googles for a Michelle Pfeiffer mask (minus the stitching) and armpit sideboob holes. The girl was having sweaty armpit problems I guess.

It's quite a ride. The black bodysuit with cowl and green cape is the earliest that can be said to look like what's expected now, and that was after 26 years of publication. And things still changed quite radically between then and now.

There's one particular cover I remember where she was riding a tiger(?) and wearing the dress with the green cape and the cowl, it stuck in my memory because a local fanzine from the 90's called it her first ever appearance. Guess they missed a whole bunch of others first. That mask thing is damn freaky, there's a minor Daredevil villain who looks like that too but it's his actual face, IIRC.

The point I was making is, the redesign that dropped the feline mask wasn't too long after her debut, according to your list. It hardly constitutes revising old material under a modern gaze if it all happened decades ago.

That's Catwoman by the way. If this was never changed, you wouldn't have Michelle Pfeiffer as a leather gimp, so you know... It'd be quite a different world.

Cat-head Catwoman got an homage in the recently released Catwoman 80th Anniversary Special. It was pretty funny.

Catwoman has some of my favorite outfits. I love the purple look featured in The Long Halloween and I love The Burton look even more.

Nah it's the real deal. It was in the War of Riddles and Jokes book. The artist is Mikel Janin. Pretty good.

Yeah, her design is... very Image, to say the least. I would give her a few tweaks; removing the topknot thing, making the spikes on her armbands increasingly larger coming up to her wrist, and maybe cover a little more skin on the legs.
