Interesting. Now we have Batwoman coming to the CW for the Arrowverse. and now Batgirl for the DCU Service. They are two different people anyways.

I never really watch any of those shows. But it sucks that both are separate universes.

I have a PS4 and a 2017 Sony model "smart" television, yet I'm not sure there's a way for me to watch this on my tv. If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know, because I'm dying to see Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, and check out Batman: TAS re-mastered.
I'll happily subscribe this weekend if I can find a way to watch this on my tv with little hassle.

Btw, anyone have opinions on the re-master of Batman: TAS? the preview clips they put out looked great, but I'd like to hear more about it.

That was better...at least they're teasing BB/Raven, but then Teen Titans Go! does that too...hopefully that means the comics put them together again.

Robin is the only one who looks decent to me, the actors and costumes for Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven all look awful. A shame really.

Why is Jason Todd Robin before Dick gives it up? It may be this version's way of forcing him out of the Robin costume,but it does not make sense. Heck, I would rather the Robin identity grow with Dick Grayson.

Beast Boy and Raven were a couple?

I figured Beast Boy would pine for Terra.

Raven and Wally flirted, but Wally had more of a thing for Raven before he struck a romance with Frances Kane pre-Magenta. Wally's romances were plot devices. Raven for anchoring him to the second Titans group just as Frances was to help him give up the Kid Flash identity a few year later. Starfire's romance with Dick Grayson was much in the same vain. Its purpose was to help pul him away from Gotham.

It's canon. Dick still operated on his own as Robin with the Titans for a time while Bruce trained Jason as the new Robin. Seeing that he'd been replaced gave Dick a big push towards finding his own identity as Nightwing.

Obviously all of their origins have been retconned a hundred times over since then, but historically, there was a very brief period of time when both Dick and Jason were active as Robin, and Dick wasn't happy about it.

Jason Todd's introduction arc was in the Spring of 1983 in Batman#357-359 and Detective Comics#524-#526. The year 1983 finished with Dick and Wally giving up their costumed identities in New Teen Titans#39. Dick Grayson sat out just one story-line which he was brainwashed by Brother Blood in NTT#40-42 between identities. So about seven months elapsed before Jason after a second appearance in his circus costume in Batman#366 before Dick gave Jason the Robin costume in #368. They never appeared together as Robin despite Jason's first costumed appearance in Detective Comics#526 while Dick was still active as Robin as Jason was unnamed in his circus outfit. Dick Girodano said to me at a comic con that his idea was for Jason to take the name Nightwing while Robin grew with Dick Grayson,but Marv Wolfman had all the say since he had the sales and nixed it. I like Girodano's idea better and he also suggested the aging process be permanently halted so Dick would not catch up to Bruce or make it odder for Bruce to adopt Dick, but it is not the way it ultimately would play out.

I was just going by the way it originally played out opposed to the retcons beginning on Batman#408 when it was depicted as Dick getting shot in the shoulder by Joker forcing him out of the Robin identity by Batman's order only for Bamtan to allow an untrained hothead to take on the identity who ironically would be killed by Joker, which Batman was trying to avoid with Dick Grayson. Yes, there have been a couple more versions like Nightwing Secret Files & Origins (2000) and Nightwing : Year One (2005). There was not angst or feuding between Bruce and Dick in 1983,but Batman struggled to see Dick as his own man and a leader as shown in Batman and the Outsider#5/New Teen Titans#37 when Dick naturally took battlefield command of both teams and did so magnificently which irked Batman. Bruce simply had trouble seeing Dick as capable of doing things his own way and doing fine. Bruce was livid when Dick dropped out of college in Batman#332 (also written by Wolfman) to start this viewpoint.
