Well, my little trip to CA got a fire lit under me, and I finally finished a fic that's been in progress for a while now...

Splintered Memories

Summary: The Episode that SHOULD have been... If you watched Back to the Sewers, you were probably not happy with the rushed feeling of the reunion of Splinter and the boys after he was blown to bits in the cyberworld. This story is before Wedding Bells and Bytes, and gives them all a proper reunion.

Having just listened to April's Diary and having just browsed several of the fan fics....I'd love to read some of these aloud. I might just start with Splintered Memories, if you're ok with it Machi. Not sure when I'll have time, though.

This might be a bit OT for this thread, but I'm just curious if anyone else around here hasn't been getting fic-updates to their fave fics over at FF.net. I haven't gotten one since June 25th, and I'm not sure what's going on with things, where that's concerned, and I didn't know where to ask.

And the fact that I've missed SEVERAL updates to my very FAVORITE TMNT fics HASN'T helped my temper any.

Anyway, if this doesn't go here, Machi, feel free to either move it to where it does, or just delete it. Either one is fine, but I was just wondering if anyone besides ME was having this problem.

I haven't had too much trouble, WW, but FF went through some massive updates a month or so ago. You could try deleting and then re-adding the authors and stories again? Contact FF, too.

Since I last updated this thread, I've written quite a few drabbles, one shots, and updated my longer stories "I Remember You" and "Wonder in Leoland".

The latest ones are "Debilitated" (Splinter and Don), "The Lion Won't Sleep Tonight" (Raph and Leo), and updates to "Wonder in Leoland".

I kinda found out about the site-upgrade thing a bit ago, Mindy, but, rather than got through all the rigamarole of deleting and re-faving everything (which would take me forevert and a day, AND lose me some of the ones that CAN'T be re-added due to them no longer BEING on the site due to deletions by the authors), I just did what you suggested in your PM to me, AND took the added step of deleting, then RE-adding FF.net's e-mail alerty addy to my "Safe Senders" List of my Main Hotmail account. So THOSE SHOULD fix matters, hopefully.

If not, I'll just squawk to the staff over at FF.net, which you ALSO suggested. But I'll wait to do THAT til I see how redoing my settings over there goes.

And just call me "Wolfie", hun. All my online buddies do.

Heh, now I'l ljust back on OUT of here, and let this thread get back to it's original topic, now that I've gotten the help that I needed.

And HOPEFULLY, the NEXT time I post in here, it will be to hype one (or more) of my OWN fics! Hopefully.

Again, cool. Heh, I'm assumming that you go by the nick of M.D Owen over there.

And I hope to very soon. Going to have to do a bit of a re-write near the start of Chapters 1 and 2, but nothing major. I just relaized that I threw in a bit TOO much d=foreshadowing of some stuff that's going to happen later on between a couple of the characters in it. Not gonna say WHO, at the moment, but you guys will figure it out once it's done and posted.

NOW all I need are two VERY important things: 1) a good beta-reader, and 2) the Internet hooked up and running at home so that I CAN post the darned things once they're revised!
