I think one reason they get confused is he had basically the same look as Stripe, and very similar names. I was a big fan of those movies as a kid, even had a plush Gizmo that squeaked, and yes, I had the pink Barbie car he rode in the first film, though it wasn't an RC, and tried (unsuccessfully) to put him in it. He was too big. Had a poster of him in the car on my wall, too.

The odd thing was a few years back Toys R Us (and I'm sure other places) had Gremlins figures, and other than Gizmo they also had evil all white Mogwais that weren't in the movies.

So would this even feature Phoebe Cates? She was pretty much the only reason I even watched the first two. I wonder what she looks like now.

I wondered if this was still going ahead.
So grittier this time around, the first was kinda dark and comedic, with the 2nd one being lighter. Do they release more about the story once filming is complete or hint at a little before then? Last edited by newfan; 02-07-2019 at 02:07 PM. |
