Why does Nintendo overcharge for NES games?
Super Mario Bros. take up 30 kB of data, it's primitive in execution and is light on content. In order to actually purchase a digital copy of it, you need to enter either the Wii U or 3DS eShop and pay 5 USD or Euro. You can also stream by subscribing to Switch online or buy it prepackaged with the NES mini, though neither is a much better deal.
I don't understand why Nintendo don't treat the major NES games like Microsoft treats minesweeper, the Switch could easily come with an NES emulator pre-loaded with 50 games and you'd still have space left for a lot of modern games that actually consume more than 1 MB of data.
