I like the fact that this was actually the fourth episode of the series. I thought that was really cool.

On a lesser note, it is possibly the single best animatied episode of anything with the TMNT name on it. The scene where the Rock Soldiers' missile blasts through the pizza parlor is gorgeous.

Good scenes and touching moments, such as when the turtles and neutrinos discuss Krang's history and Dimension X, which is one of my favourite parts of this episode but I think as far as the first 5 go, this is my least favourite. Still ranks high on my list tho!

I always found it kinda funny/interesting that when Leo cut the tank treads his sword was suddenly like 10 feet long. Other than that, though, that was one of the few episodes where the side door was actually used for the seat and gun and I always found that part to be kinda cool.

English

But where did the neutrinos learn English, and how teenage life was on Earth in the 1950's and 1960's? Radio and television?

The Funniest Scene (in my opinion) is when Donatello is hanging onto the Neutrino's car and gets his shell scrapped against the building. Later, Michaelangelo adds some turtle wax to it

The other funny scene was one that i mentioned in a thread on here. It's Leonardo playing an Arcade game while the Turtles hide out. Very rare, but funny Leonardo.

You mean Michelangelo should play it?

No, i'm just commenting on Leonardo's rare funny side in some of the episodes and this particular episode. In the original toon screencaps thread, Tone posted some images of Leonardo at his humorous self.

Isn't it in "April Gets in Dutch" Raphael says to Leonardo he said something fun.

Great episode, but it's probably my least favourite from season one, I never liked the Neutrinos.

They appeared in some later episodes too, but not many.

Their most memorable is probably the second one, where Michelangelo and Kala had a crush on each other, which I've always found it to be a bit disturbing.

The whole time I was watching the episode that they featured the neutrinos I kept getting the impression that the writers intended some thing more with them than what was featured in the episode. Like I thought that the neutrinos was supposed to give a little more insight on Krang and what his tyranny was like, but they didn't really

maybe the writters had more to do with them and got denied at the last second. the whole neutrino episode seemed rather rushed to me.

Original TMNT idea?

Are the neutrinos an original TMNT idea, or parody from another science fiction story?

Yeah, it seems weird that such unimportant characters would be introduced within the first five episodes unless they were supposed to play a greater role later on that didn't quite work out.

Another is "It Came from Beneath the Sewers" where Raphael fires upon the plant.
