I picked up issue zero ... wonder if this will perk my interest

Take my son the the LCS couple of times a month to pick out a few books to his liking to see if he’s into comics and he usually comes with a few kid friendly titles. He’s a huge Turtles fan in general because I am, but I don’t let him read IDW yet because he’s 5, so I thought maybe he’ll dig rise, even though it’s not my cup of tea. So I showed him the comic and he said “those aren’t the ninja turtles”. Made me laugh

So the motion comic they had a bit ago was essentially the Hallowe'en comic.

Was at the LCS today and saw this on the shelf. The designs are...interesting to say the last. Didn't pick it up but nice to see them still putting out titles.

Do you let him see the 1987 2012 and 2003 series or only Rise since you dont even let him read the IDW comics?
