& just like the Godzilla joint, something with great potential is dealt a blow by being done in this awful CGI style.

I just watched a new trailer for the Godzilla: Monster Planet anime and I couldn't even finish it. Batman Ninja looks like it has a better balance of CGI and traditional animation though, I'm still interested for now

Yeah, I couldn't even bring myself to start watching it, let alone sit through the whole thing. What a wreck. This on the other hand, while it suffers for the style, is far better looking, so I could give it a shot despite my being put off.

I watched the new preview for the Godzilla anime since it's finally out on Netflix and it was just absolutely awful. I'm actually less excited for the Batman Ninja anime now because the weird cell-shaded CGI animation style really, really sucks. Maybe the story will be good at least.

I hope there's also an English dub though. I like to watch both versions of some animes and compare the dialogue for differences.

I don't know, I feel as if comparing the Godzilla anime with Batman Ninja is like apples and carrots. Sure Batman Ninja seems sluggish in a few areas but the art are more dynamic and stylish, the characters feel like their original counterparts but moved into a different time period/country, and its made by a different production company
