Craig "A.C." Farley now accepting commissions
This doesn't happen but once in a great while.
Craig "A.C." Farley, renowned Mirage artist, is now accepting commissions. Craig posted a message on his facebook page about it, and asked that I spread the word Quote:

I'd like something, but since I'd be spending money, I'd like to see examples of what his 'convention sketches' look like. I know he's on my list of artists to get a commission from, but I forgot what his work looks like.
And it's awesome he's doing some. I hope to get in there. |

I contacted him about a movie poster for my new film. He's interested but we need to get the cash together to pay him proper.

I asked for just a turtle and however he wanted. He said 50 and 9 x 12 ink on paper.

Nah, I'm sure he don't mind. I actually asked for Raph and told him I don't care what he's doing or anything like that.

There may only be 4 in this thread, but that doesn't meant there aren't more who aren't members here.

Def more than 4.
I told him I didn't mind being last, though.

Nupe, I'm getting a Shredder sketch at some point.
I hit Craig up once a year to check in and let it be.

Yes.
At this point, I'd just stick with it. I would be surprised if he ever took on commissions again. In his situation, the best thing to do would be to make several sketches first, then solicit them. It's a lot less stressful that way. |

I'm still waiting too. I have literally waited on a dream commission from another artist (begged him for years for a specific character) and I finally got it in the time I started waiting on this one to now.
I also am still waiting on another commission from another TMNT artist. The crazy thing is, this other artist, even though I've waited a couple years, whenever I check in with them, I get a pic of the art in progress. I totally understand that Craig went through some issues, and I hope he's completely over them. I don't have any complaints, besides wanting the art on my walls. I will say that any time I've reached out to him he's been cool about letting me know what's going on. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if he's doing normal everyday life stuff on top of these commissions, then I can see him not being into wanting to do them. I don't want him blasting through them, and then saying there you go. The only thing that may piss me off, is if when he does do them, they looked rushed or like he didn't really put much time into them. |
