She be dead. Her body essentially fell apart cuz she switched canisters to an earlier formula.

I know she switched canisters on her husband, but since Victor turned it on himself and it made him to his subzero state instead of kill him I thought Nora may be in cryogenic state.

It was explained at the end when he woke up in Ahrkam. He had absorbed traces of his earlier formulae and it caused a mutation of sorts.

It started off a little shaky and yes, slightly hokey in some eps- the guy with the balloons was the worst- but it has really come into its own this season. Penguin is an amazing breakout character (never cared for him much before) and Cat is- well, it's easy to see where the seeds of her future relationship with Bruce/Bats are being planted. Nygma has really started getting good, too. I DO kind of miss Moony, but there are so many great characters here. And this is probably my favorite version of Harvey Bullock outside of B:TAS.

Basil Karlo will show up probably gaining the powers of his successors before season's end. Also, we are given a two day preview of father and son meeting for what seems to be the first time. Oswald is already 31 while Bruce is 11ish? They cant be more than five year apart. Ah well, elseworlds.

Well, Daddy Peewee only last two episodes. I expected a few more. The woman was after his money and used Penguin's criminal record to her advantage to frame him. I kind of feel for the feathered felon losing both parents within a month's time.

She wasn't trying to frame him. The poison was meant for Oswald, not his father. She was genuinely upset when she learned the father drank the sherry. Because he wasn't even supposed to have it! He was disobeying his doc's orders by drinking it, and she had expected only Oswald to drink it. That's why she asked if his father had drunk any, and her son spilled the rest to hide the evidence. She had also told her kids that they needed to get rid of the "rat", meaning Oswald.

There's a scene in this week's ep in the prison. I recognized the movie emediatly as 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. At first I was wondering why of all things they'd be showing a musical in a men's prison. Then I remembered that this was the break out starring role for... Julie Newmar!

This is the episode that both The Penguin and The Riddler come to the point of no return. I don't like Riddler as a serial killer, just out to outsmart Batman and kill him once he does.

A month after losing his mother due to his villainous ways he loses his father. Oswald would have reformed if he was able to be with his father. I do like this portrayal, but was the revenge he took neccessary? Spiking their wine would have sufficed, but this...It went to far.

After what those golddiggers did to him AND his father, they had it coming. I saw it as paybacks and nothing mire. Though he DID seem to get quite a lot of pleasure from it. I think it was more for the shock to the mother than anything. From the way he was grinning about the poison, I'd guess he used it on the two kids, then just cooked them to get back at her.

Galavan finally killed and Hugo Strange exposed?

Butch hooked up with Tabatha?

The girl portraying the Firefly knockoff is up n3xt. Mad Hatter or Clayface going to show? We see Fish Mooney up and about. Too much to cram into two episodes.

The penultimate episode of the season. Professor Strange is indeed the one who hired Chill to kill Thomas(and Martha) Wayne for getting to close to his plan for the Wayne funded Arkham project. The one who helped strange? The court of The Owls. Was bringing in a New 52 element necessary? I know it was mentioned in interviews, but I shrug it off. Basil Karlo debuted and Mad Hatter teased. Fish is back probably only to be killed again like Galavan. Oh, and Eddie is now full on villain mojo.

Gotham has been quite strange (no pun intended) lately, but Im honestly enjoying it. Accepting that it alters whats usually typical backstories and timelines for characters, were finally seeing some become who we knew they were going to be.

My personal favorite being Riddler. Casting for him was spot on, and now we really get to see just how intellectually mad he is. Everything he does has an element of survival, and one of just trying to demonstrate how smart he is. Fantastic.

Firefly has been cool, even switching the character to Bridgett. Clayface introduced, Mr. Freeze fully developed, Azrael arc, Penguins comeback, Mad Hatter teased. Season two really is "Wrath of the Villains.

Couple of things:
1. Fish's comeback - I have a theory on this. Fish was probably the biggest, non-canon, addition to Gotham, who became a major character. I think Gotham is trying to have another "Harley Quinn" scenario. Harley was first introduced in the animated series, people loved her, and then she was canon-ized in the comics. Similarly, Diggle on Arrow had the same result. Again, I think thats the same goal with Fish. Only thing is, Fish in the first season was ultimately just another crime boss, which Batman already has tons of. But now in season 2, decked out in a comic-worthy costume with her new found mind-control? abilities, and you've got a brand new, distinct and powerful villain that the Dark Knight can face off with for years to come.

2. This one was more of a dashed hope. There was a very obvious scene of Azrael taking the whip off of Tabitha. Sadly, nothing came out of that (I think he used it once), despite the focus on it. I had hoped that somehow Bruce would end up with it, and then gift it to the Batman character notorious for using one: Selina. I thought that wouldve been a great way to give Selina her characters classic weapon of choice. Though, again, doesnt appear that way. But who knows, maybe Bruce somehow has it and will give it to her later...
