Reminds of how I recently heard that Jaleel White was cast as Sonic so he wouldn't be associated with any particular ethnic group, odd seeing how "blue hedgehog" doesn't make me think of anything in particular.

I don't see how you get that from the VA clip, and the Nick cartoon already had plenty of original cartoon vibes and throwbacks.

Being a huge Leo fan, honestly I dont like how they are making raph the oldest and making him leader. Although I do find it kinda interesting how Leo is gonna be the rebel in this series. I just hope that Raph being leader isn't a permanent thing throughout the series.

Having April black actually sounds cool.

Will have to wait and see on this since its gonna be a lighter feel but since they are going the mystical route, would be sweet to see demon shredder or the 5 elemental mystics as long as they weren't "kiddie-fied". Regarding other characters, gonna reframe from saying which I would like to see in the show until I have a better idea on how it is from the episodes themselves but I hope they don't include bebop and rocksteady.

That was mostly Brandon Auman who loves horror, and he was one of the directors besides Ciro Nieli.

Nothing has been stated that it won't be standard 22 minute episodes.

I hope they are 22 minute episodes, the video shows them recording episode 10 and 11, but they probably been recording the previous episodes months before, its just they kept it all under wraps until today.

I thought they were going to change the way they act to better fit their roles. If they are going to be acting the same and just giving then new ranks there's no point in this switch.

It actually makes sense this way. It seems to me like its gradual development for Leonardo to step up and grow into the role as a leader, and Raphael realizing he messed up too many times, etc.

I think this is a great idea actually, Leonardo might have to earn his right to be leader this time.
