You can actually do homemade Turkish delight. Even though I had an excursion that was a partial failure, it still tasted pretty amazing in the end. The failure was that it was difficult to cut and too thin, which contributed to that issue.
As for mine... Scotch Egg "Proper" soba noodles "Proper" non-instant ramen Half of the foods that have been on Japanology World of Harry Potter butterbeer (I've had homemade that's good but overly sweet on an unholy but glorious level)

Exotic meats like crocodile, snake, etc.. Also exotic crabs!
Like coconut crab: Or Japanese spider crab: That's just got to be tasty, with some butter and lemon. Yum.

Eh nothing in particular, really? From what I've seen, a lot of food eaten in other parts of the world are basically the same stuff I'm used to eating but prepared a bit differently. I mean, I've had cow, pork, chicken, turkey, rabbit, duck, lamb, reindeer, mosse, whale meat and a bunch of sea food and fish such as octopus, squid, tuna, salmon, sea bass, swordfish, etc. already. Not to mention vegetables and carbs. Not that many animals left I'd like to eat. I can live without eating crocodile, shark, tiger, monkey, kangaroo, etc. meat. And I sure don't want to try dog or cat meat. So, if anything, I just mostly haven't tried different ways of preparing food.
That being said, I wouldn't mind trying new stuff in the future. I'm sure there's tasty stuff out there I haven't tried. |

Trust me shark is one of the BEST tasting fish! It is more delicate tasting and flaky than most fish. Less "fishy" in taste and smell too. I have a "killer" baked shark steak recipe!
I've had swordfish, octopus, eel, salmon, tuna, catfish, anchovies, perch, bass, crappie, various sushi rolls, crab, lobster, crawfish, clams, scallops, fried oyster, frog legs, gator tail, venison, elk jerky, dove, and lamb. Had goat's milk, mead, cognac, birch beer, and homemade wine. There are plenty of things I haven't tried yet but can't think of any I really want to. Are those stuffed mushrooms? I've had them. Pretty good! Tried fried green tomatoes too. I've even eaten wild puffball mushrooms. So good....

Food I already like.
I'm not adventurous with food... no editable bucket list here. Anything new I will like someday is not currently on the radar. Have you see the tiny ones at Asian buffet restaurants? Those make me sad... they look like little squeaky toys. |

I found a few cake and pie recipes in a seasonal food magazine I picked up recently that sound really good. I am anxious to try some of them out for the holidays. Peanut butter banana creme pie? Strawberry swirl cream cheese pound cake? Mint chocolate chip ice cream cake? Strawberry pretzel icebox pie? Yummmm.....

No but I am fond of crab rangoons. The octopus I had was sliced sushimi style. A bit chewy but still good!

Probably any form of seafood. I don't have the taste for it compared to my family. Maybe at some point, I'll pick up some enjoyment from it.

That's good to know if I'm ever feeling in the right mood for baking. It would be nice to have a professional make it though.

"Something touched my foot..." *looks down* *runs screaming*
Surely a lot of eating on those things. Like the Thanksgiving turkey of crabs. edit: If they could be pets, just imagine how eagerly would-be home intruders would leave. Hahaha Can't remember what restaurant it was or is that served/serves snake meat balled up in breading and spices. Pretty sure it's a chain. My mom tasted it and felt queasy the rest of the evening just thinking about it. I wouldn't touch it. lol Probably the most 'exotic' I've had is bison, but that's not even that out there anymore. (One of note, the bison chili - and burgers - at the cafe at the Indian museum in D.C. is quite good.) |

All the pizzas that I have not eaten. I don't mean toppings, because I'm very boring when it comes to toppings. But I just like sampling all the different varieties of crusts and sauce combinations.
