Cats and dogs are apt to go for food if it's left unattended, or even if it isn't. My cat used to try to get to food if I was trying to eat, but I'd just shove it back lightly in the face. After a while, he stopped completely. He doesn't even so much as beg. It was even the same almost when I'd eat at a friend's house when I was staying with her, when her dogs would always come up to me and just sit at my feet. They'd be expecting me to share, but I'd always just ignore them.

Being able to voice an animated character is a pretty huge deal imo. Like movie stars, you kept a part of yourself immortalised so to speak, passing through generations, being a part of history. Even when you're gone, it still lives on. It's an honor and privilege, even for uttering a single meow.

I saw an Apprentice episode once and the winner gets to voice a background character in Over The Hedge. He just screamed and gasped in shock, but must be able to do it with feelings to get the green light and put into the movie by the creators (only one of the two winners was accepted).

So yeah, even a small part, I reckon it's really something heh.

That's hilarious that Kevin is voicing ICK. Nothing wrong with voicing a cat though. Hell, Jay Leno voiced Kitty on South Park, and he did a pretty good job with it.

Yeah Shark_Blade, guess he's just spouting off as usual. 2012 Mikey says allot of things before thinking them through, I guess. His brain hasn't quite caught up to his mouth yet! haha

About the kitty... Haven't seen the clip yet because I'm trying so very hard not to spoil the episode for myself but if he wasn't yowling in pain, I'm sure it wasn't that bad. Is it a boy or girl btw? Now I'm tempted to, "take a wisten" as Eddie Murphy would say.

Actually I am a cat owner. I don't have any cats aside from the my landlady's cat at this time. But I also remember the moment when my cat Penelope passed away. So it wasn't so much the cat licking the mutagen ice cream it was how it reacted to the mutagen process that was all kinds of wrong.

I wonder if at least one of the writers is a cat lover. We've seen more than one so far, haven't we? At least I'd think someone on the staff is a cat owner because getting into mutagen is exactly what my two furry little gremlins would do. That mutation sceen does sound rather disturbing, however.
