That video made me excited to remember that Alan Silvestri is returning as composer for these films.

That was weird.
I guess they make these trailer-trailer-trailers to give YouTubers something to record themselves reacting to. It's like a drop of blood in a pool of piranhas.

That's... substantial. The highest budgets on any Marvel movies ever have been half of that, $250,000, and that was only on Age of Ultron and Civil War. Hopefully this means we'll see Agents of SHIELD on it, and the Netflix foos. One great big celebration of the whole MCU.

That is quite substantial. I read somewhere that James Cameron wanted $1 billion for the next four Avatar movies. Granted those have nowhere near the cast of these movies. I think the highest documented production budget is still at $300 million for one of the Pirates movies.
No way Marvel Studios would've gotten that budget if they were still under Ike. |

Is it not possible for Disney to have paid what Perlmutter wouldn't? I'm not sure how these studio politics would work.

Feige would've had to go around Ike and get Alan Horn or Iger himself involved. I believe he had to do something similar to get approval to sign RDJ for Civil War because Ike didn't want to pay him what he was asking.

Maybe just this once. There was that one interview with Feige a little ways back where he was asked, "So EVERYBODY is in this? Even the Agents of SHIELD, Netflix, etc. guys?" and was like, "Oops, I guess that's a spoiler, isn't it?"
