I have really no idea what to expect from this film. At times I feel I'll hate it and others that it might just take a new approach to PRs that I'll like. It's really up in the air.

Bryan Cranston has apologized for a comment he made about David Yost's character, Billy.

Quote:
In a 2009 interview with IGN, Cranston reportedly referred to the blue ranger as the "fey" member of the Power Rangers ensemble.

"When I read the interview, which took place about a year before I came out publicly it really hurt me," Yost told NBC OUT when asked about Cranston being cast in the upcoming Power Rangers reboot.

Cranston, 60, responded to Yost's comments, saying he didn't remember making the joke but still takes responsibility for his potentially hurtful words.

"To be honest, I don't remember saying that," said Cranston in a statement to NBC OUT. "But I accept that I may have as Mr. Yost suggests, in an attempt at humor," he explained, adding: "To hear that my impulsive comment hurt someone's feelings, makes me contrite. I accept responsibility for the thoughtless remark and apologize to Mr. Yost and anyone else who may have been offended."

Did anyone else pick up up Boom!'s MMPR#5? It was short and sweet. The basis is
Spoiler:
Zach did not agreevwith thevway Jason handled things in Italy because it put the Prime Minister's life in danger and Zach got them out of it. Rita abducts him to talk and he is offered to switch to a coun with greater power than his. Hevof course turns her down imnediately and she lets him teleport away. It should be noted to see Zach in the Green Ranger costume was interesting. It is never confirmed but I believe it was Lord Zedd whospoke to Rita warning her to not give the extra coun to another pwrson altogether be itvalready a ranger or a new person altogether because the person will defect. Rita mentions to Zach she kbows what it's like to be second-in-command. That would also suggest the voice was Zedd. It also mentioned something I never pucked up on as a kid, Zach was Jason's number two. I always believed as did my friends who watched it, Tommy was Jason's number two and moved into the leadership role when Jason left. Had Zach stayed instead of leaving with Jason I see no change in that. Only time I remember Zach taking a kead in anything was when he order the three others to fire at super putties after Tommy and Jason got the weaponry.
Will we pick up where #4 left off in #6?

Designs look a bit better in toy form, but man, they're really not so hot. As is the case with most things today, there's way too much going on. Less is more.

Here's a closer look at the helmets and Power Coins. There are from the members at Ranger Board. I do miss the animal symbols from the TV show.

So how is this reboot expected to affect the TV franchise, if at all?

If you're talking from a canon point of view it'll probably be seperate from any tv series, kinda like how the first movie was when it came to how the Rangers got the Ninja powers as opposed to how they got them in the tv show. Also Ivan Ooze never affected the show as well, though I kinda wish he did.

The cast of the movie is also apparently going to be playing Truth or Dare on Snap Chat today around 5 PM PST.

Also, if you look closely at the Pink Power Coin, you can see the Pterodactyl.

It's been rumored but it looks like they're definitely tying Rita in with the a Green Ranger. Looks like the Green power coin in Rita's staff.

man those close-ups of the Power Coins and Helmets do nothing for me. they look like insect heads! i mean would it have killed them to at least try to make em look like the originals? and those Power Coins look like cheap crap imo, like a child designed them!

Entertainment Weekly got to interview the cast (minus R.J. Cyler).

http://www.ew.com/article/2016/07/22...bryan-cranston

The latest Q&A is happening and he's not there either. You might want to rewind it to see the beginning.

Here's another interview with the cast.

Also, David Yost wore his suit at Hollywood BLVD today.

https://www.facebook.com/DavidYostAc...type=3&theater

Plus, here when Amy Jo Johnson performing while wearing a Pink Ranger suit back in 2014. This was after David Yost dared her to wear one if she raised a certain amount of money for one of her films.

Everything about the new movie sounds real interesting, now only if we could get a trailer.
