The original tmnt 2003 game for the GBA in December 2003. I had a lot of fun playing it even though I could never beat the last level. I liked the gameplay and the plot was a good adaptation of season one of the 4Kids cartoon.

The first ever NES TMNT game. In fact, I think it might have actually been the first game I've ever played. And if not, it's certainly one of the first ones I've played ever. And what a game to start with

As for the first TMNT game I've ever bought with my own money? TMNT(based on the 2007 movie) for the PS2

Unsure if it was Arcade Turtles in Time or NES TMNT II: The Arcade Game.

I remember specifically asking for the TMNT game because I liked the arcade game but I'm pretty sure I have no memory of ever playing the original arcade game.

The 1st TMNT game I ever played was the first game that came out on the NES, it was a platformer, and known for being difficult at the time.

Yeah the UK Amiga version wasn't a picnic either.
