McFarlane Alien vs Predator box set

McFarlane Alien 3 Dog Alien

I apologize for crowding the thread with all the Alien/Predator stuff... it's just what I'm collecting lately. All that's really left for me to get is the McFarlane Celtic & Scar predator figs.

That's a great box set. I spent a long time tracking it down the year it came out, and got it for Christmas that year. It was amazing. It still hangs out on my collection shelf. One of the best McFarlane boxsets. As much as I love the Ash/Evil Ash set, it isnt really as unique.

^ Indeed, it's fantastic... I read on the box that the eggs glow and I figured it meant in the dark, wow was I surprised.

Oh yeah, that feature is awesome. I can't remember the last time McFarlane went the extra mile with their figures like they did with that set. Those batteries last a long time. I've had my set since it came out, had it on countless times and they're still kicking.

Some of Marvel Universe's 2011 line was miraculously on shelves at a place that normally gets stuff way late. They were so new that they didn't register in the computer when scanned and had to tinker to get them to ring up. I picked up World War Hulk and Spider-Man 2099; they also had Captain Marvel and Doc Samson. I had a 10% off coupon AND a $3 off coupon, so they came to next to nothing in comparison to their standard price.

Fred Meyer. They're only in the PNW and Alaska these days, but they're part of Kroger.

FINALLY, the 12" McFarlane Scar Predator is mine! Totally love this one.
I still have to pick up the smaller versions and the Grid alien to match this one.

^ Awesome... was Coldheart in the TV series or the films? I vaguely remember him but only seem to fully recall the absolute lord and master of the clouds, No Heart.

Just picked up a brick of DC 75th Anniversary Heroclix on Wednesday. Got quite few interesting figs, including Larfleeze, Red Lantern Guy Gardner, and White Lantern Flash.

Can't wait for my He-Man classics! I hope they'll arrive before I travel home for Yule

Also got my dirty hands on these. Think I'm warming up for the Universe line...

My MOTUC He-Man and Skeletor (both reissue) arrived today. And wow, they are awesome-sauce.

Read the Name Demo-Man on Skeletor's card and googled it, ho boy it's fun to see the debate about this new character (he's based off the original concept of Skeletor, for those of you who did not know it) And that he and Keldor merged by the power of Hordak seems to get many into a fan-rage.

Honestly I really don't mind that Keldor gets stronger by being merged by Demo-Man

^ They really are so GREAT! I have 'em battle posed on my desk, facing eachother and duplicates hung on the wall. They're the only two I've collected from this line of MOTU figures, although I have just about every modern repaint of Skeletor at this point and the SDCC Keldor exclusive. Glad they arrived sooner than later! The anticipation is a killer.

Don't forget to join the sword halves!
