Even on Thanksgiving... Someone gotta introduce those guys to other foods. lol Or at least turkey topped pizza.

As for me... Just immediate family. The main food was ordered. From a good place, but I miss it actually being home cooked. Probably going to the cemetery after we eat and take flowers to my father.

Happy Thanksgiving all! Normally I'd be off this morning to celebrate with the girlfriend's family in the morning and then my family in the evening, but her family isn't doing as much so we're headed to my parent's house within the next hour or so.

Got a nice hour long cardio workout in ... picked up our house a bit ... and now just relaxing till we get ready to leave.

Good times ahead!

Happy Thanksgiving all! Today is that one day of the year when we get together with friends and family to celebrate football by having a parade and sacrificing a turkey, before resting up to prepare for that holiest of shopping days (aka Black Friday)!

Happy Thanksgiving my mom spent three hours at the ER at the end of the day!

Her foot just started to hurt really badly out of nowhere when we sat down for dinner.

X-ray never found anything broken, but they put her in a boot and gave her recommendations for specialists

I hope she will be okay and that it is nothing serious. Foot problems can certainly be bad. Mr D spent his birthday a few years ago in the hospital for a MRSA infection, and came out short by a half-foot a week and a half later. (Really. He had half his left foot amputated due to the infection.)

Yikes! That sucks big time.

She's fine for the moment. She had been extremely active in the past two days - some of which was spent cutting branches off the tree and then jumping her body's length off it to get down. Then spent the next day running around at her work doing things. And then stood all day prepping for dinner. So when she finally did sit down to eat, it started hurting and then got progressively worse.
