I know "SJW" has become a pejorative term, but it shouldn't be. Yes, many people who self-identify as SJWs can be annoying, but if you find yourself opposed to people who advocate for social justice and civil rights, you probably need to take a look in the mirror.

I don't think most people have a problem with social justice and civil rights, SJW is a term used to mock those people who abuse it as an excuse to further expand their agenda.

And here I thought it was because they were bad at reading a room and knowing their audience.

I mean, in the 90s I watched Bill Maher bomb on a college campus until he read the room, and shifted his act to suit his audience.

And I think there's a difference between not liking a thing, and saying/doing bigoted things.

I think he was trying to say that "Nazis are true SJW"s in a way that they are the ones that want censor everything, i.e. he took "SJW" as something completely negative.

Which all in all is a very weird thing to do, not because, "SJW" are good, but it's like equaling two things on a opposite sides of the spectrum. Like Liberal Authoritarian or Northern South.

Seems guy need to spend more time on Internet to learn what is what.

Or maybe people just need to grow a skin and don't take everything as a personal offense (which advice a lot "Internet-lefties" give, and obviously they don't follow suit) and understand what is a harmless joke and what is a serious bigotry.
