I hate these little teasers they give us. Didn't d they just reveal the whole thing all at once last year?

Those repaints still don't match my expectations from NECA in regards to Fred Wolf turtles. Little disappointing but maybe it's just me.

I'm willing to wait until the full reveal before I decide. I wouldn't base anything on these shadowy teasers, but I'm happy so far.

I think they look great, but the sculp was always great as we saw with custom repaints and removing the pixel paintjob. They are the best on-screen representation to date as the SHF figures are more in line with the Retro stock art, and Playmates Classics... less said the better about those
But that Shredder arm looks the same as the Mirage/Arcade Shredder |

He's coming!
I'd fully expect to see some parts reuse here. Makes perfect sense for limited release figures. Now let's see the full reveal! All we have so far are shadowy pictures, so yeah, definitely reserving judgement until we see the full offering of turtles and other characters and better (non-teaser) pics. |

Taking a closer look at the shredding teaser pic... I think that is the Mirage Shredder's arm since his muscle definition on his upper arm seems to have the heavy ink lines.
So maybe new sculpt altogether after all when he is revealed. |

Randy kept teasing three new shredder sculpts but I just get the sinking feeling that this is not going to be one of them. I really hope I'm wrong. I feel our luck ran out with the great job they did on the Henson turtles.

For those that have the mirage shredder is that the same gauntlet?
edit: After looking at some pics and comparing the two I can gladly say these are new gauntlets. Last edited by tmntfannumerouno; 05-23-2017 at 02:38 PM. |

The scratch on the shoulder plate looks like the same as the previous sculpt, and with the bicep ink line it looks like Mirage Shredder as a stand-in for the Photoshopping

How about one more teaser image to end the day? #WorldTurtleDay #TurtleTuesday #SDCC

A sculpted shoulder piece confirmed, probably just a extra piece over the existing Foot Ninja body like the cape was with Arcade Shredder and Elite. But it's a nice detail

Well now I'm a little disappointed The only thing different besides the shoulder piece is the communicator and I'm not wasting my money just for that. |

What a waste of World Turtle Day. When you are proud of something you have created, you are eager to show it off in its full glory. When you are hesitant about your final project, you tease it to hopefully build up the type of excitement that you get with a full and proud reveal.

For Alien Day, they went all out with more than one full reveal. Just happy we got quality Henson (Mikey is yet TBD) turtles.
