Just a quick update on the Shogun Triceraton situation. The seller kept trying to offer me "deals" that weren't at all deals. He basically offered additional figures at a reduced cost, only the reduced cost matched what he had them listed at previously, BEFORE raising his prices a good 20%-50%. I turned all of them down and just wanted to be done with him instead of giving him more business. Anyway, he agreed to a full refund and I agreed to ship it back.
Lo and behold, the item is already up on eBay again. Only, whereas he sold it to me for $140, he now has it listed at $215! And STILL no mention of the damage that caused me to send it back. This dude is a total loser: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...E:B:SS:US:1123 I implore the rest of you not to buy from retrorefresh. His feedback seems solid, but my experience with him has been pretty awful. Last edited by I Crave Pizza No More; 06-24-2011 at 05:41 PM. |

Um, yeah...big time. Seller also has some shady feedback. I love that it comes with a COA created by him. What an idiot.
$150 would buy you admission into at least the next 5 shows Kevin will be signing at...and then you could get 5 authentic sigs (and on comics no less...not on a white backer board or whatever that is). |

Just scored a Jim Lee Mikey Moc for 20$ including shipping. I threw a bid on it and was shocked no one else went after it lol I'm a little scared they saw something I didn't.

Good lord. Really, it's an insult to would-be collectors that you wouldn't just open that sucker up.

What do you guys think of eBay explaining that search results will be ordered based on seller performance. So if you do not perform well as a seller, your items will be harder to find when searching, and eBay will make sure this happens.
http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/searchstanding.html I opted into hassle free returns after a couple bad buying experiences where I opened a case legitimately but would have paid return shipping to reduce the hassle of the whole thing. It made me think I should accept returns so that a buyer who has buyers remorse will just pay return shipping instead of opening phony case. |
