Not a fan of NECA's current fetish for 1/4th scale, but that's a perrdy looking Turtle.
Maybe down the line they'll make some more standard NECA 7" figures. |

Yeah this would be better at 1/6 scale and like I said in the other thread I have to wonder if this is the work of Trevor

The picture you posted is Trevor's work, yes but it may not be the one we see here, not at this time but hopefully we'll get to know more

Anyway I approve except for the scale. I want 1/6. I feel like now that Henson turtles are getting attention someone like Hot Toys (probably not HT cause they're focused on the marvel and Star Wars properties) will put out this scale. These will be hard to pass up though

Neca's 18" line is the only loop hole so far that they can work with for most licenses.
They will stick with 18" because 1:6 scale licenses are mostly taken by a lot of companies. I'm very excited for these 1:4 figs. I hope they would at least make Shredder beside the turtles. |

But yeah, Donatello will be bought. When they get around to doing Raphael, I'll have to pick up two of those. Raphael is my brother's favorite turtle. |

If it's like their other 1/4 scale stuff... they don't have the rights for 6"-7" figures.

Nice I speculated that was the case. Do you have a source we can see?

I spoke to Trevor today about this line they are releasing q2 2016 all 4 are being made he's currently finishing the Leo sculpture. These will stand around 16 inches tall and probably cost around 100 each. I'm in for all 4 for sure although I prefer 1/6 scale as well. These are fully articulated as well.

As I posted earlier, it's possible they can eventually bypass it like they did with Keaton Batman, Reeve Superman and Ledger Joker. The sculpt was shrunk to NECA's usual 1/10th (7") scale and where packed with a DVD movie, which was a loophole they exploited.

And if they did, and I hope they do, I hope they would go with first film likenesses. |

What if they do life sized kind of like some of the Star Wars stuff? A part of me would want to see it but a big part of me wouldn't. The price tag would scare me.
