OH NOES! SOMEONE PROTECT THE CHILDREN!
Because it's clear as day their own parents aren't doing it. Don't even get me started on the whole myth of innocence...

lol, yeah I agree with you, it's become part of society, hell across the globe not just North America and East Asia, it's acceptable to see people cycle through "lovers" like a woman cycles monthly! YES, I JUST WENT THERE! |

Dude, if the kid was so innocent how would the kid know about porn let alone be on the internet looking it up? Who looks up that crud anyway?

I remember the days that I actually had to hide my porn. Now I just leave it on the desktop.

Pornography fuels the mistreatment of women. There are a lot of guys that look at women as sexual objects. To them it's like having a car, a video game, or a box of cookies.
It's disgusting, and on par with racism in my opinion. Everyone should see each other as equal, and have respect. I'm not going to compromise what I know is right, just because a percentage of society is engaging in it. |

All I can say is they shouldnt worry about the porn right now. Sexual innuendos and promiscuity are all over the place. Magazines, billboards, TV, radio ads, video games. Look at the way some of the female characters in cartoons are dressed, even. Plenty of kids watch MTV which is basically sex disguised as beauty/glamour. Childrens pageants where they judge them in bathing suits, make them dance like strippers & sh!t blah blah blah... Girls are bred to be pieces of meat in this generation. As for the boys, those kids didn't find porn on accident. They looked for it, got caught and lied. They only feel interested/stimulated by being exposed to innapropriate things at a young age via TV. Don't worry about us losers who needa jack off now & then, worry about what your kids are being brainwashed into thinking is acceptable.
...As bad as the oil spill eh? So, every time I bust a nut at pornhub I'm killing sea turtles? Damn.

Porn helps people relive built up sexual tension and video games help relive stress. Both are things that cause people to be violent so I hardly view them as negative.
When I was like 12 we got internet in my house and my Dad had website blockers in place on our internet. If he was using that **** 10 years ago to stop me from looking at porn wtf is stopping parents from doing that now? |

People that look at pornography enjoy it, so I don't expect them to stop. Mostly, I don't care what people do behind closed doors. I do have my opinions, and sometimes I like to tell them. I don't know why I bother tell my opinion though, it doesn't change anything. It probably just pisses people off. |

Oh sure, you can find misogyny in porn, just as you can find it in just about anything. To try and pass them off as one in the same is to take away a woman's agency in fulfilling her own sexual desires. What I love in this article is the idea that it's only been in the last twelve years that girls have been "programmed" to see themselves as sexual toys for the menfolk. As if Western Culture hasn't been turning that crank for the last couple of thousand years. Hell you don't even have to go to a history book, go look at the thread: Do you prefer your women in make up. Wear too little make up and you're not desirable and unworthy of attention. Wear too much, and you're one of those horrible social outcasts: women who enjoy having sex.

Overall, I don't know what the hell is going on here, or why I decided to post in this topic. Most of the people here probably don't care what I think. I'm glad this forum has the Role Playing Game section, because that's my favorite section. That's the only reason I even come to this website anymore. Once that's gone, I will be gone too. I'm just not getting any enjoyment out of the other parts of the forum. There are not any new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episodes to discuss with others anymore. |

Sounds like you got some self-confidence issues there, buddy. I'd take you seriously if you didn't stake your whole opinion on the cookie-cutter "everyone makes me sick" mentality. But whatever.

Self-confidence issues? Yeah, I might have some. I'm not sure about that. I'd like to be taken seriously.

What about gay porn? Surely that is ripe for mistreatment of women, right there. Yeahhh.
