Saw the premiere and thought it was pretty good. Cool seeing Swamp Thing. I used the watch the live action show.

Honestly I'm not a huge superhero fan. I like watching the cartoons now and then and some of the movies but I'm not as into it as TMNT. So I guess you can call me a casual

Oh and Wonder Woman is hot

The premiere was pretty good, I just wish the characters didn't feel samey. Here's Green Arrow, throwing out jokes. Here's Swamp Thing, throwing out jokes. Here's Martian Manhunter, THROWING OUT JOKES. I understand it's not big on character and story, but they don't all need to be so similar.

Also, Kevin Conroy still sucks.

Its sort of like Brave and the Bold, maybe more child friendly? I do wish Kevin Conroy wasn't used here, as he feels so out of place. They could have used any other Batman voice.

I'm really enjoying this show, especially this version of Wonder Woman. It's nice cause one of my twin boys is enjoying the show as well. And it's definitely a refreshing change from the shows that they've usually got on tv on Disney Junior or Nick Jr.

ROFL, loved that the showrunners basically had to admit last night on Twitter Lois was the love of Superman's life after fans swamped them with complaints about Supes and Wondy's date in Repulse. If Action gets a second season, I think they'll be dropping the forced romance angle between them (makes sense since the comics have ditched it in favor of Ma Lois and Jon)

OH THANK THE SOURCE-I wouldn't have minded it if they were to like...BUILD UP to it, like they did with Batman and WonderWoman, or Donnie and April, but that came out of no-where. ALSO-I felt it kinda said something that after almost sacrificing himself to remove a nanotech-parasite, that Diana would let a little garlic breath keep her from kissing Clark.

4 new episodes happened in June or were uploaded to sites in june. They are pretty good ones.

1 has Poison Ivy

1 has Penguin Deadshot and Two Face

1 has Jonah Hex and Space Cabbie and

one has the generic go inside someone to save them from dying cliche episode and one with Athena and hive

I've still never seen a single ep of this show, I'm probably waiting for it to end before I marathon it. Knowing Cartoon Network they'll probably cancel it in the next year anyway.

I know Cartoon Network has absolutely no interest in continuing this series, which by the way was my final strike for them. I am 100% done with that network and it's garbage, after the way that it treated JLA and Transformers: Robots in Disguise. But I wonder if there's any chance at all of Justice League Action getting picked up on the DC digital service that Young Justice is going to be featured on. It is really a shame that this series didn't get a chance. It was really good.

Looking back, Brave and the Bold was the last DC cartoon to get a full run with 65 episodes (and then a movie with the recent Scooby Doo crossover). But that's because Brave and the Bold came out in 2008, a decade ago CN still had some interest in action shows.

How would you compare JLA to Brave and the Bold? I haven't watched all of JLA yet, do you prefer it? I think Brave and the Bold had some better stories.

Cartoon Network did not care to promote Justice League during its Unlimited banner. It was moved to 10pm on Saturday and one never knew when new episodes were coming out without digging in the internet for information. So promoting DC shows has never been a,thing for Cartoon Metwork. I mean for a couple of years Super Friends were regulated to 2am Sunday morning slot during that same period.

JLU still got tons of promotion and an added 13 ep season when people thought it was over. If you look at the review threads on toonzone it was heavily popular and promoted at the time.

Toon Zone is not a good measure of how popular something was, it was a forum for nerds i.e. a niche. With that said, Unlimited was heavily promoted enough that I decided to check it out. At that time the only cartoon I watched was Teen Titans since I thought cartoons were for kids but I liked the tongue in cheek aspect of TT. There were tons of constant commercials promoting Unlimited that I decided to check it out and ended up loving it and getting into cartoons again.

So JLA is done for good? A shame that kids today don't have long running superhero shows anymore, just the flavor of the month every two years. This show looked fun and I look forward to watching it one day. We really did live in a golden age of superhero cartoons during the 90s and 00s.

Toonzone was heavily active in the early/mid 2000's, that's why. Back then it was THE place to talk about cartoons online, especially DC cartoons where even Bruce Timm would post often.

Nowadays like all forums it's a barren wasteland, but back in the early 2000's to about 2008 or so it was active. Social media has killed it.

I know Toon Zone was super active, I spent so much time there and i found it while looking for Teen Titans news, a great place for discussions of animation in the 00's. But Toon Zone killed itself though, it banned some good regulars (including me ) and made too many dumb people into mods who made lame topics which killed discussion.

They must've been hurting for members that they unbanned many people and asked them to come back including me and I tried to rejoin the forums but there was no discussion and the software their using is so damn annoying, I can't even use the forums anymore to search for old conversations since it's so bloated.

But yeah, forums are dead, they've been replaced by crappier discussions on Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr/youtubers/discord channels and none of those have the same level of discussions forums have. It seems /co/ has the most thought inducing discussions but it's also filled with the regular 4chan nonsense and posts are deleted forever.

I still have over 11,000 posts posts on toonzone, I registered there back in 2004 like I did on every major website in the early 2000's. I posted almost everywhere online back then, I've probably been on forums you didn't even know I was there. And now I'm too busy spreading my influence on ResetEra.

As for 4chan, there is occasionally some decent discussion there, you just have to avoid all the waifu threads and the constant discussion about anime fanservice and porn. /vp/ is filled with constant threads about pokegirls and suggestive fanart than discussion about the games.
