Love it! Unpublished works are the best.

Here's a really fun piece of vintage licensing art from Steve Lavigne and Ryan Brown. This image has appeared on tons of merchandise, from Colorforms packaging to Thermos lunchboxes. Steve also claims that Chef Boyardee used it, but I'm not sure how. If you know, or recognize the artwork from any other products, please tell me!

Doesn't seem to be Chef Boyardee, although it's similar. Either way, great piece of art!

NinjaRap I don't know how I missed that piece of art being for sale! I would do unspeakable things to own it!!
Personally I just acquired a HUGE bunch of TMNT Cereal preproduction art. Literally dozens of concept sketches, drawings, and color comps. I shared it on Facebook and it's WAY too many images to re-upload and share here. But here's a link to the public Facebook post if anybody wants to check it out: https://www.facebook.com/aaron.hazou...01944785411492 |

Great, man. LOVE the concept sketches. Very interesting to see, and even the original art of the final box itself? Awesome!

AAAAHHHH another grail piece for me: a Ken Mitchroney TMNT page! With Krang, Rocksteady, Bebop, Shredder, AND a turtle?! Some of you might have seen this on Shellback Artwork's Facebook page. I snapped it up! (Sorry for the crappy photo - haven't had a chance to scan it but was so excited I had to share it!)

Awesome page, and congrats dude. I think that page may just be Bebop and Rocksteady's first comic book appearance in an original story.
edit: I'm wrong, it's their 3rd page in the story. |

Here's a background color key painting of the Turtle Lair that's dated 1987 Playmates Toys. This was used during the making of the very first episode of the original cartoon series (the pilot show's code, 9030-001, is written below another production number). It shows the bedroom hallway where April first hears the origin story of the Turtles. The Sewer Playset was one of my favorite toys growing up, so this piece really takes me back!

My wife and I started going to the Shellback Artworks FCBD events back in 2013 and we went every year since. She couldn't make it to the last signing in October, though. It was good to see the shop one last time. I got a great memento out of the deal. I may eventually have Steve work his magic on it.

That looks even better than I remembered!!
I toyed with the idea of coloring my Fugitoid, but decided to leave it in its raw beauty! We totally lucked out with our second pass through

Normally I'd agree with you, but I figure for uniformity's sake, I might still get Steve to do his thing. I think it would look good with the rest of the guys: |
