No, I'm pretty sure Baxter's a willing participant. He's already in with Bishop, though reluctantly.

Hell, Baxter might be the reason the Turtles know to defend Burnow Island!

They're certainly not wasting any time getting the story up and running, are they? So hyped!

Reminder this arc had been foreshadowed around issue #56-57 or whatever it was when Bishop first debuted overlooking Burnow Island, like 2+ years and 20+ issues ago in the making. It's taken ages, but we finally got to it. And don't forget Ch'rell is awake now and somewhere there.

That was some time ago.

Ch'rell and the Triceratons are a pretty recent development.

It's just a question of where Ch'rell has gone...since it will be inevitable that Kleve realized his plan failed and now he has to go on the run and drag Ch'rell with him, since he'd be at risk of imprisonment as well.

I'm not sure why they keep saying that Zom was the target of assassination.

We got a little bit more Irma, though.

The weirdest moment of all was when a scene repeated twice?

But connecting to that, the Roswell flashbacks look like they're going to be amazing! Like...of course it was an Utrom in the Roswell crash!

I'm not really sure how Ma'riell wasn't able to tell that Kleve had switched places with Ch'rell, unless she was just in such a hurry she didn't pay attention.

But we've finally got Traag and Granitor back in action, and once again have Ch'rell showing up on the last page again...but in magnificently oversized armor! Yeah, he's not going to have a problem fighting Slash at all. It is pretty funny how it's so much bigger than either of Krang's suits and I'm just like...were they in some kind of d*ck measuring contest of who could build the biggest suit?

Finally...someone please take that gun from Pete .


It does look like two of the Macro issues are being done ahead of this.
First the Donatello issue where he reconnects with Harold, and then Mike going in with the Foot and bonding with the kids.

Only in my second read-through did I notice "Agent Buttship" and of course I happened to have been taking a big ol' sip of tea in the middle of noticing it.

OH JEEZ I just realized the Utrom in the Bishop flashback is a MUCH bigger deal than what's being let on.

Because that's in 1947. Any other Utrom that could be alive would have been in stasis at that point. Krang had been acting alone on Burnow Island for a little under 200 years at that point, so there shouldn't be anyone else running around.

Unless there are still Utroms somehow surviving on Utrominon that Krang wasn't able to account for, and that particular one went looking for Krang. Then for whatever reason, didn't make it to Burnow island.

Ugh, I hated the Turtles in this issue.

There's no realistic way Raph and Mike would both be so "meh" to taking the fight to Bishop, especially Mike... completely unbelievable, written solely to interject some pointless drama.

But the Utroms, Bishop, Triceratons, Baxter... if it wasn't the Turtles, it was damn good in this issue.
