Do you boycott any companies?
Some people boycott certain companies because they find them unethical. Some weeks ago I saw someone posting an image asking people to not buy any Nestlé products, for example.
I personally don't boycott any company. If I don't like your products I simply won't buy them and ignore them if I see them on supermarket shelves or something. Sure, it sucks that a lot of companies are unethical, some more than others, but that's like pretty much every big company out there. So what's the only option left? Live a very humble existence? What about you? Do you boycott any companies? |

I've never boycotted any companies for ethical reasons, but I have boycotted companies when I thought they were making crappy products.

Why? Boycotts are only effective if the bulk of the customers are in on it, or if the business is so small they can't afford a loss in customers. And in the case of bigger businesses a successful boycott will just result in layoffs if anything, worst case scenario the assets are just bought by a different company and things just continue on with new owners.

Companies IMO should only be boycotted if they're for ethical reasons (etc workers being treated like garbage). If it's nonsense like boycotting for something someone said on television that you're sponsoring, then no.

So far, not really. I've only stopped buying if they made a change I didn't like. (But damn I still miss the Nissin Teriyaki Beef Chow Mein...)

Netflix
I boycott Netflix until the company stop dividing itself into countries. Everything should be aviable all over the world, and if there are no dubs or subtitles in the language the viewer wants, he or she has to stick with the original language. We don't have the Internet to keep barriers.

I wouldn't use the word boycott. But of course there is things that I have no interest in supporting and do not.
