In-lore explanation for every single little goddamn change like it's DC comics
What's the in-lore explaination for how Cerebus' world ended up being the TMNT world? What's the in-lore explaination for why the events of the Image series isn't ever mentioned again? What's the in-lore explaination for the differences between Chris Allan and Jim Lawson's art style? What's the in-lore explaination for how Renet can claim to only be one being across all reality, while the Nick version is clearly different, while the show has a version of Dimension X that is also the allegedly the only one existance despite contradicting IDW's?
These questions and many more, like, totally need an in-universe explaination! I mean it's not like reboots, retcons, revamps, recastings, streamlining and plain intentional non-canon are things that impact multi-media franchises on a regular basis and aren't necessarily direct continuity errors. No, everything must align regardless of artistic intent, no matter how minor it is!
