I believe we are splitting into 2 parts stupids and nonstupids. Simple minded stimpys and angry rens because we have to deal with stimpys. Quote:
Really, the stuff I've seen for both of those properties seem to have allot more care put into them thus far. Last edited by VaughnMichael; 01-07-2009 at 01:49 PM. |

Doesn't matter to me who's stupid and who's not. We all still need to get along together.

Love the retro cards and card backs. Wish they'd kept bio cards though.

Yeah I did the DPCI thing at 2 Target stores (one was a Super) and nothing. Another auction has popped up on the bay with the set of 4 turtles. thegame24 said that all he saw were the turtles too. I wonder if the secondary characters are even in these cases.

They should be yes, but Toys R Us is a bit slow with getting new merch out some times. |

Wasn't the 25th what lead to the 2 box sets with the bases with the speakers in them...the one that had the theme and the clip from the movie..."Cobra...COOOBRA! Cobra...COOOBRA!!"

They released 3 Box sets that had figures and Speakers like that. the third one is the one you are refering to. They also released like 50 single carded figures, probably 20 Comic/Figure 2 packs, 4 Vehicles and a bunch of Store Exclusives.
To say Hasbro didn't do anything for the GI Joe 25th anniversary is a huge understatement. |

Oh just so everyone knows there will be box sets of the old TMNT figures as well.
Or well that is what I've been told. |

Any idea of when on that? I may just wait on getting the single carded ones if I can just get them in one set.

Right. July 26th I was at Wal-Mart for "midnight madness" waiting to buy the new ROTJ figures and the employees were walking by snickering and giving each other looks at the expense of myself and the others that were there waiting. It's like that everywhere here. "Toys be fer chirren! Adults that buys them is gunna sales um or lives in momma's basement" so online shopping makes my toy habit less stressful. One guy on the Rebelscum forums admitted to buying a kid's birthday card when he buys new figures for himself just to keep the cashier from giving him "the look". I thought that was funny.

You know that's funny, I've only one time had some one give me a hard time for buying action figures, and that was a Winx Club doll. But never for Star Wars, TMNT, GI Joe, etc.

Oh noes, the minimum wage cashier at Walmart might not approve of my buying habits for the 30 seconds of my life I'm in contact with him. Boohoo.
