Re-Editing Out of the Shadows
I thought I'd take a stab at a redit of Out of the Shadows, here's my take on the opening
https://vimeo.com/207087214 Details -Removed original opening with the Turtles attending the basketball game -Removed most of Casey's cheesy lines to Shredder, Rocksteady and Bebop -Removed Giant Nun-Chuck Grapplers on the Party Wagon -Added a brief "Inside Technodrome" Cue from Powder's TMNT (OT) Remastered soundtrack Still working my way through it, but I think my work is mostly cut out for me with Casey's amount of cheese right now |

Here are a couple of suggestions:
And if there are deleted scenes that fixes any of this, please reinsert them. I must admit, it's a good idea to start with the transfer scene.

It should be the world's easiest reedit, to fix the movie. I'll even tell you how to do it: what you do is you import the whole movie into Adobe Premiere/Final Cut Pro/Sony Vegas, make a new sequence, import the "Out of the Shadows" video file, slam it onto the timeline... then highlight the whole thing, delete it, and hit save.
Done.

These are just test edits, I haven't committed to the full timeline yet, I'll let you know when I put them all together

Awesome, thanks for letting me know. I wonder if it would be possible to cut the entire movie to the length of 1 hour and have it play out like a multi-parter episode from the FW cartoon. For added effect, maybe you could insert some of the tracks from the show into the scenes with low/no music.

You either hate the movie or you like it for what it is, this isn't a situation like The Next Mutation where editing could actually make the movie better IMHO.

Somewhat off topic, one thing I would like reedited,is Batman Forever. Cut out some of the neon, add more of the psychological study where Val Kilmer and Chase are talking and he says 'I killed them'. Also, digitally makeover Jim Caray in the final act. Then you got yourself a pretty good film.

It's been done before in short clips but I don't have them. Just editing out the goofy sound effects already tonally changes scenes completely and makes it better, anyone have the youtube clips of that? There was also a fan project going on about it but I think it's not going places quickly.

I hope I did not come off as rude in my previous post. It is easy to do on the Internet. I just have a highly negative view of the show. It has to be a monument mal task as some of it has to remain for it be anything cohesive.

I've been busy with other editing projects, but I should be resuming work on this within the week.
In the meantime, I've learned someone else, a reddit user called WhoJANKINS, has been editing the film and talks about what he's done here: Quote:

I like the scenes you have so far. I have a feeling that the end run time will be short, but as long as it has a good outcome the length doesn't matter.
Look forward to seeing the finished product.
