I'unno. First thing we saw of the BayTurtles movie was that Michelangelo Halloween costume, and right away a TON of us went, "Wow, this whole thing is doomed!", and it was. Sometimes, you actually do know well in advance.

"Listen to your heeeeeeaaaaaart...!"

Sometimes, you’re right to judge a book by its cover.

If April ends up having that weird lopsided haircut and has the manly body of Leo656, then you just know it’s doomed to be another failure.

I'll take "Things You Never Hear Anyone Say" for $500.

The guy who runs the Monster Factory once told me "You have the physique of a midwife!" and I couldn't even say jack sh*t because that was just the best.

They don’t do that. They just make the male characters female.

They tried that with Rise, but it was changed at the last minute. Somewhat.

Been starting to wonder. Assuming the date sticks, it's not really all that far away at this point. Surely they have plenty enough work on it done at this point to throw a teaser together.

I wouldn't expect a trailer to drop until probably March. That's what they did with the 2014 movie, which also had an August release.

I think we should expect a full cast list within the next month or so. I find it strange that around 6 months from the movie's release we lack one.

Maybe they're so confident they're doing a Super Bowl commercial?

Possible, some ad intended to be epic so we're all shocked and amazed. If that's the case then I hope they're right that it's good so they don't have to go all PD on us if people end up criticizing it.

Remember the last heavily Fred Wolf inspired TMNT movie to have a Superbowl commercial. Nearly a year later the producers were giving interviews saying one of the reasons they were so surprised that it flopped is because it had a Superbowl commercial.

That's hilarious! I hope Seth Rogen's movie flops too, but I'm guessing the budget isn't going to be nearly as big as the last film and is likely gonna be to small to be a flop.

They are really committed to Donatello wearing glasses. Perhaps it was naive of me but I really thought we'd seen the last of the initialised belt buckles back in the 90s. There is a valid argument that the colour coding helps people quickly tell the characters apart but who looks at their belts when trying to figure out which turtle is talking.

Also it seems the Bay/Rise Raphael having a full bandana on his head is the way to go now
