Hey, that's neat. Congratulations.
Coincidentally enough, this was actually Saturday but I went to a wedding. I'd never gone to one before actually, it was a lot of fun. There's videos all over my FB page for anyone interested. YouTube is being a Scrooge about the songs being copyright protected so I can't put 'em on YouTube and share them. It was fun, though. The food was great.

What made me happy is that I got my biometric screening and that it's over (that I'm past the part where the needle is used to get a blood sample that it's over with). |

I was having a pretty **** day at work and then this very interesting coincidence happened....
This popped up in my Twitter feed from the TMNT Master account. Memed from this Pentatonix album design: That album was designed by one of my best friends! XD She does all the album art for Pentatonix. I thought that was pretty cool. Fandom collides with my friend's awesome job. |

Father out of the hospital as of yesterday. Still things ahead to deal with as he's gone and gotten himself some semi-rare-ish incurable issue that we're not really sure where this goes from here , but at least he's feeling pretty good after last week's scary incident.
Started a new job this week, but just been training at the computer the last four days so it's been an easy start. Bought a TMNT Mad Libs book today. I hate how pricy Mad Libs are and because of that it's been a long time since I've had any, so I wasn't intending on buying it, but I randomly opened it to this page (in spoiler) and the potential level of WTF would not let me leave the store without it. Just a forewarning, the page pertains to April and Donnie. Spoiler:

Haha! I may have to get that now, just to have some fun with these! I remember I used to have a few of them when I was a kid, and they were a lot of fun.

Y'know what's free? Writing your own Mad Libs with a friend. That's what me and my wife do. Just write a little paragraph of a story and then erase every third or fourth word. Simple.

Have done that before years ago.
Actually one of the best ones I ever had was a book I think was supposed to be an old English/vocabulary/grammar type work book that worked perfectly as Mad Libs. Even more awesome was that the stories were all spooky, so it was particularly hilarious to throw random stuff in otherwise scary stories. As kids, there for a while when my sister was in the tub I'd be sitting in the bathroom with that book having her give me words for it before reading it out loud. Good times. Wonder what I did with that old thing. |

That sounds neat! Now I wish I'd done that with some of our old workbooks in school. Sure would have made some of my classes more entertaining, LOL!

Oh man, that's hilarious, Indigo. I so want that book now. My BF has a Mad Libs book, and we sometimes spend time going through it and making up words. Maybe we could do that with TMNT and just do that on our own. That would be great.
Happy maker: It's my mom's birthday today and we're going to go out to eat at Olive Garden. Can't wait since I've never been there before.

My lil' pumpkin looking good, and though I have to work tomorrow I'll at least be done at 7pm rather than staying till closing so I won't entirely miss Halloween. (Though being a rare weekend Halloween I wish I had the whole day off.)

I DISCOVERED HEVISAURUS!
So they're the Finnish version of Barney the dinosaur...except there are five of them and they play metal songs for kids in giant awesome costumes with spiked chokers and leather. I'm calling them GWARney. |

What made me happy: Watching a marathon of the Twilight Saga on FX made me happy. Also that Mom's going to get Wendy's for me after she gets done with church.

My fave holiday, just wish I hadn't had to work.
There was a time when I'd spend a good part of the day decorating the front yard (sans the basics that were done in advance and less likely to disappear), miss those days. Stopped doing it after Halloween basically died in this neighborhood (we were one of the last holdouts), but coming home I did see a small number of homes with their yard light on at the other end of the street, so maybe it's slowing returning. |
