... I mean... It looks like a bad idea... But is anyone actually going to buy this when it comes out or even remember it like five years down the line? Some of these sorts of obvious non-canon books like DKR get popular but most just seems to fade from memory. I willing to bet that the most this can hope for is to get posted on 4Chan as a meme in in a few years.

Every time I see one of "these" pop up, my whole inkling is always like... "Oh yeah, this HAS to be a joke, right? There is NO WAY someone seriously wants to make this and expects it to be successful, right?"

I've come to terms that it's just a phase and instead of getting all triggered by this stuff I can just move on and enjoy the things that I like. Eventually it'll fade just like 90s XTREEEEME comics did. And just like 90s comics were ridiculed later on, they were a product of their time. Just give it a few years, I mean no one wants to read about the fat goth multigender daughter of starfire.
Before it was "controversial" to sex things up and comics did, now it's "controversial" to do this. Some people may like it, I mean I love 90s XTrEEEEEME, but after the trend passed things went back to normal. |
