Has anybody seen Marvel Infinite (the Marvel Universe 3.75 "reboot") yet? A store that usually sucks on getting new figs, which also has not had the last 3-4 waves of MU, actually did on Saturday. They had all of them but Wasp, who apparently is the one people are scrambling to get and paying $40+ online for. I pre-ordered a case a few days prior of wave 2, which has all of the first wave except for Hulk, so I picked up Hulk while I was there.

I saw a couple at Target... mostly picked over though, didn't see any that I wanted. I'm more interested in Legends but I'll get a few MU scale here and there, especially the characters I doubt will be put in Legends form in the near future.

This is what I've gotten over the past month or so. With the new Infinite line, I'm glad we're getting new figs, and especially some Marvel Now stuff... but there's a lot that still feels backwards or unwarranted. The cards are now more generic, so it's harder to see who's on the pegs without having to physically go through the entire thing. I used to be able to at least tell what character it was just by glancing down the length of the peg (phrasing) Also, we're getting a lot of MU repacks. This would be a good thing I guess for people that didn't get them the first time, but they're not scarce or even uncommon ones so far that would please most everyone... but instead guys like Iron Man and Captain America that are already warming pegs with their own movie lines right next to the Infinite pegs.

I saw that Hulk today at a comic shop. He's really great, but not comic-shop-price great. I can't wait to find him in stores.
I just won an auction on eBay for the DC Club Infinite Earths John Constantine. |

I like the new Infinite stands... a lot of the figs are quite good too.
Nice to see that not only is Marvel Legends seeing some of its best ever waves under Hasbro, but they aren't ignoring the Universe scale stuff either. It's pretty strong as well. My current quest: Find a SW Black Series 6" Stormtrooper for retail price I got Obi-Wan and Bespin Luke... I just need the trooper then I'm set until the next wave. I would have just bought a case... but they repacked Han Solo in this wave... and I really don't need another Han |

BUMP!
Guardians of the Galaxy Marvel Legends wave is for pre-order on amazon! I just snagged all 6! YES! Whew... glad that's taken care of They are currently taking up 6 of the top 10 "movers and shakers" http://www.amazon.com/gp/movers-and-...snr_tab_t_bsms With the sketchy availability of ML I'd rather just pay the 21.99 each and not have to hunt and chase. Also, thanks to the way amazon does pre-orders (not charged until it ships), if you can find it cheaper before release you can always cancel. Last edited by Zulithe; 04-02-2014 at 01:24 AM. |

Hell, I took a stroll to my local comic shop and they want $30 each for the previous 2 ML waves so by comparison, Amazon's price is pretty much retail & satisfactory enough for me. It goes without saying how much time it saves us.

It was a busy March for me.
Marvel Legends scores: Got this guy mostly for the BAF pieces but it's a pretty cool Ghost Rider figure so I can't complain. Plus it allowed me to finally finish this guy! An AMAZING figure. Might be one of my all-time tops. Now if I could only find Black Widow. I'll post more later. And there is tons more. Last edited by Vundi; 04-03-2014 at 12:08 AM. |

And finally, I preordered this guy.... I wanted to vomit when I hit the place order button. By far the most I've ever spent on a single item. |

The first batch of my Gatchaman stuff came in. This set is apparently pretty rare. Its a Unifive set from 2001. I'm still waiting on another thing from Gatchaman, but this set is pretty neat. Especially considering I didn't pay collector prices, really. |
