Some good news today, my mom got called for a job interview, and my building manager let me know she is processing my mom's application. Looks like things are looking up a little.

So today was one of those days where things just went to poop. I got in another car accident. Rear ended by a woman. I was stopped she ran into me doing about 25 mph. Went to get checked out and found out my rotator cuff and tendons in my shoulder are messed up. Doctor did a stress test and he isn't to worried, but at the same time he wants to give it a couple days and see if it gets better before doing a MRI. He is thinking it is either going to require physical therapy or surgery, that is if it doesn't start to get better in two days.

Glad to hear things are looking up for your mom, HMC.
Hob, sorry to hear that. I hope things will work out for you. And my mom is fine. She wasn't hit. The lady thought she was going to pull out because she had pulled up to be able to see due to the corn that was in the way. So the lady panicked and swerved and went into the corn field. She's okay though. If Mom would've pulled out, she would've hit her.

My girlfriend just called the lady on the radio a bitch, which was well deserved, and still requested a song and they played it.

That's hilarious. Why did your girlfriend do that?

She asked the girl why they kept playing the same song many times, and the girl said "I'd explain it, but it's to complex for you to understand."
The song she requested was Die Die My Darling by the Misfits. Last edited by btomegr; 09-16-2012 at 10:01 PM. |

Hello Dromies, please keep little Trey in your thoughts and prayers. The cause of his vomiting (which started about a month ago. First thought it was just reflux, but in fact it...) is pyloric stenosis which is easily treatable, with surgery. It's a very simple procedure but all surgery has its risks. Pray that God guides the hands of the surgeons, so everything goes as planned. Thanks all.

Haven't been on in a while, but need to vent a bit...I would explain the whole story, but it would take way too long...a close friend of mine has caused some un-needed drama within the small group we're both involved with, and I finally decided to be brutally honest with him about the situation. The kind of brutal honesty that can end a friendship...I don't know what would have been worse, him hating me and never speaking to me again, or the way he actually reacted, which was to ignore everything I told him to just continue living in the, for want of a better way to say this, dream world he's created for himself.
It was bad enough when all of this started, but things finally seemed to be returning to a form of normalcy, the group was going along nicely, and just yesterday he decides to screw everything up again (not on purpose, but there was no reasoning for what he did)...I'm half-contemplating ending our friendship myself, just to try and shock some sense into him. Though I fear it would just cause him to go deeper into his delusions... Anyways, prayer for our small group, my friend (Zach), and the girl involved in the situation (Sadie), would be very much appreciated.

Surgery was successful. He's back in his room recovering, listening to our neighbor's TV which is tuned to Nick. Got to see some of the TMNT promos...slept right through them. Doesn't seem that impressed.

I'm so glad that Trey is doing good! I wish him a speedy recovery from surgery.
I hope that your friend situation gets better Raven, it's hard having to lose a friend.
