Just seen it pop up on the net, I'll wait for Nick to announce before I take it too seriously.

It's legit. The trades are reporting it.

Seth and Evan are big comic book fans so maybe they'll lean into the Mirage books with this.

So no Live action movie then, but hopefully this will be better than the 2014 and 2016 movies.

I like the 2007 movie but I hope this has the Shredder in it.

Does this replace the new PD project or are both still being produced? They can't be the same movie because they have different writers.

I would've still loved something more "practical" ... but alas.

Just saw, eating my words here

As others have said, wonder if it is instead of the PD reboot.

Deadline article also says the Rise of the TMNT Netflix movie is still happening, it'll be separate from this

Interesting. Kind of hope this is separate from the PD reboot, as I prefer my Turtles live action for the big screen and still want a live action one to be happening, so not real crazy about a fully CGI movie, but if it turns out good then still look forward to seeing it and glad to see more attention given for the TMNT. And get to be this Nick Animation Studio's first CG theatrical film? Pretty cool, hopefully turning out a really good film will be of the utmost importance then.

After weeks of occasional rumors of other things that weren't true, it's nice to finally hear something that sounds like it is.

Very interesting that all the rumors were just bubbling to the surface...

BTW, Deadline is pretty dang accurate. I trust this.

Personally, I didn’t think the 2016 movie was that awful, but as long as it’s based on the more serious side than the kiddy side, I’ll be content. Not giving my hopes up on that front, though.

I really won't know how optimistic I am about this until they give us an idea of the story or tone they are going for. This isn't sounding like the live-action gritty take on TMNT I'm still hoping for, but there's definitely potential here.

Same here, can't have any real feelings until just a little more is known, PG-13 would be nice but even a PG is better than a U. I don't feel this will be the dark and gritty people want but that doesn't mean it has to be the youngest end either. Just gonna have to wait and see what info comes.

I love TMNT 2012 so you know i'm about the CGI.

2007 film story wasn't my thing but it definitely showed the huge potential that's there.

I'm excited for this. I just hope it can win me over since Rise sure couldn't.

Lol, all I can find, so far, regarding Seth Rogen's relationship with TMNT:

I think it is smart for Nickelodeon to do a CG animated movie like 2007?s ‘TMNT’ film. Since Seth Rogan is involved I‘d imagine there will still be a large amount of humor.
