Vintage TMNT story and coloring books

So I learned that there is a coloring book for A Thing About Rats. One more piece of human 1987 Baxter merchandise to add to my list of what's out there.

I originally set out to look for storybooks when I found that. I spotted the usual storybooks for early season 2 and a lot more I couldn't identify. A couple have the same titles as early Archie issues. Most have completely original titles (The Magic Crystal, Escape from Dimension X, The Final Lesson, etc). Does anyone know if the stories in them are original too or if they're episode adaptations with titles that don't match the episodes?

Also wondering whether there were ever story or color or some kind of books for the Z episodes, or at least for Bye, Bye, Fly and/or Son of Return of the Fly II. Don't imagine Revenge of the Fly would have got one, that late in the series' run.

Full color storybooks by Random House-

A Fishy Adventure: We meet Ray Fillet, who beats up Shredder.
The Incredible Shrinking Turtles: Episode adaption
The Magic Crystal: Comic adaption (Mirage)
Return Of The Shredder: Episode adaption
Codename Chameleon: Comic adaption (Archie)
Escape From Dimension X: Episode adaption (Hot Rodding Teenagers From Dimension X)
The Fight For The Turnstone: Comic adaption (Archie)
Splinters Last Chance: Episode adaption (Shredder and Splintered)

None of those Baxter-centric episodes had adaptions to my knowledge.

Thank you! That's very helpful. Amusing to think of Ray beating up Shredder. (Or is he not the same Ray as in Rebel Without a Fin?)

Sure! As for Ray, it's his more traditional Archie/Playmates look featured in the story.
