Because according to her father, it's "to protect her". Which really hasn't been working considering she's been targeted by 3 metahumans. And there was that one time she and the rest of the CCPD were held hostage by Clock King....

But even though hiding this from her is wrong, she was still very harsh on Eddie.

There are two tropes superhero shows will ALWAYS use, even though audiences are sick of them.

#1. The Love Triangle (Oliver/Ray/Felicity) (Barry/Eddie/Iris)

#2. The Secret Identity (not so much Oliver anymore) (Barry)

Because Joe is being stupid and honestly kinda creepy. Which is a shame considering how likable he can be otherwise.

This episode was so good. Wells was incredibly creepy, and I loved the shout-out to Vibe with seeing different dimensions and the glasses.

Speaking from someone who watched each and every Smallville episode as it aired, let me just freaking applaud the pacing of this show. Its pretty much 5 seasons of Smallville pacing into one! And they're not shying away from things like Time Travel and a freakin' WALKING TALKING GORILLA! Love it.

Grodd was awesome this episode. I really liked the horror movie direction they took him in. Though that King Kong homage migth've been a bit much.

It's fun seeing Eobard act as a full-blown villain.

Unfortunately, I thought this episode sucked.

Too much of Iris continuing to be a self-absorbed b!tch, not enough of the psychic gorilla.

Grodd was AWESOME though. That scene where he was tormenting Joe with the gun? SHIVERS.
