Merry Christmas everyone

Yep. Another holiday season is here. Have fun tomorrow and on Monday everyone.

Will you be doing anything special? Not me. Just two other normal days.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

Merry Christmas!

My parents are flying into town tomorrow and we're picking them up at the airport. We will be having a lot of "junk food" for Christmas eve and day. By junk food I don't mean candy and things like that. But a lot of finger food that are chicken and fish related. Also having a cake to celebrate the Savior's birthday. All this is pretty much a tradition from my wife's side of the family that I'm more than happy to make our own.

Two normal days for us as well. We pretty much stopped celebrating altogether a number of years ago. A combination of jaded cynicism & lacking funds. I can still appreciate the seasonal festivity at times though, depends on my mood. I'll have some cocoa & candy canes, throw on a Sinatra Christmas album, etc. One tradition I don't break either way is my yearly viewing of We Wish You A Turtles Christmas, which I did on Wednesday.

All the same I hope everybody here finds this last chapter of 2017 a pleasant one!

We never decorated at mom's house, first for being busy, second because we're having it at my grandmother's.

After that, I have no idea what is going on.

Fun? That doesn't exist this weekend when you work in a store. But just one more to go... Phew. The only plus is that Sunday shifts are always early for me so I'll at least be out within the afternoon and get to enjoy Christmas eve at home.

Nothing to crazy here. Just the typical Christmas morning gifts, hang out at home, and prob get Chinese for dinner. (And keeping fingers crossed that a potential cold bugs off and doesn't really happen... )

Though did get my wish of having the day after Christmas off for once.

Buon Natale to y'all as well.

It's cool that even as an adult, I can still appreciate this time of year.

I just got home from my Christmas in Waco. Where the family gifts were pretty much all kitchen appliances .

I got two different kinds of tea kettles because I had noticed a lack of them in the house. So one is a regular tea kettle and the other is immersion...which apparently can cook pasta? But, since it heats in half a minute, I fully intend to use it for the next time I have to bottle feed kittens. It would be perfect for warming up chilled bottles.

There are two late gifts - a handmade Utrom and my boyfriend's family's gift to me (either the 2003 Utrom figure or Bubble Walker Krang...I don't know which of the two they went with)

Happy Christmas to all of you as well. Just got home from hanging with my family.

Currently listening to one of my Christmas presents now, which is Trans-Siberian Orchestra: Letters from the Labyrinth.
