And apparently enough people on tumblr thought it was real??? I mean, the font isn't even the same and it's kind of squished in, but I find it funny that enough people think it's authentic

Truth be told, the 1st time I say that image (without having read the issue first) I thought it was real.

I love my new computer. The keyboard lights up when I touch it so I can see the letter better. Also, they were able to transfer the data from my hard drive to this computer so I didn't lose any of my stuff.

Enjoyed FCBD at my local library yesterday, and then sae GotG2. Loved it! Better than the first, IMO.

That's the way it goes for us. Only way we can go to the movies is if someone watches Dad for us and my sis is the only one available though she also works handing out samples on the weekends so she can watch him when we go grocery shopping. My brother is working for a guy in construction and helping him out though he hasn't been hired full time yet.

Happy maker: Finally finishing a chapter of a fan fic that I had to have on hold after my computer died.

I had an interesting conversation with the new girl at work. We talked about high school, friendship, and my sort-of antisocial behavior. I explained to her how hard it is for me to express my feelings and how I don't like conversation. She said that I seemed to be doing a good job of it at work. She finished saying that I should just try to talk to people more, and that I'm a good person.

I really needed that.

I've been having my doubts recently, and I've been feeling pretty bad lately, but her kind words really cheered me up. She won't ever know how much effect her words had in me, but nonetheless I'm really happy she said that.

Same, at a glance the font looks similar enough that I didn't notice it was an edit. But it isn't exactly hard to fool my eyes :V

Looking closer, the biggest differences can be seen in the "f" "u" and "e" . In the font I used, Digital Strip, is a little finer, the bars of the "f" have more separation, and the "u" has more of a tail than the "normal" text (probably top secret and expensive to boot). But if you just glance over it, they look really similar.

Happy I actually got off EARLY for once! We have a few new people at work on morning shift so maybe I will be able to start getting my breaks and going hpme when scheduled again. One can only hope.....

May 8th here in Norway is a flag day, where we celebrate the end of the Nazi occupation and getting out country back from the Nazis, this year we also had remembrance for WWII veterans.

And it's my partner's birthday, so we had lunch with her family and had dinner at the country's best Indian restaurant.

Gave my dog a bath today. It's always hilarious to chase her around the house with a towel afterward. Does anyone else have a dog that likes to run around crazily after getting out of the bath? Wish and the dog we had before her have always done this.

One we used to have would do that. He wouldn't be released to go free until he was toweled off, but still damp he'd go crazy around the house, roll around on the carpet and run his sides and face against the furniture (thanks...) trying to dry off. Or whatever the hell he was trying to accomplish.
