The NECA sections at my local Targets are so sad. No sign of the TMNT stuff at all, and barely anything else.

Yeah, I checked mine the other day and all they had was Five Nights at Freddy's junk and some random Godzilla merchandise.

I totally need at least one Godzilla, though.

I always pick it up, and then talk myself out of it and put it down. But I'm deeply ashamed at not having one single piece of Godzilla merch as of yet. I don't need much, just at least one "classic"-looking Godzilla. The whole line looks super cool, though.

The NECA section at this place is decent-sized, it's just clogged with mostly horror stuff. And the Funko section beside it is absolutely nothing but those ridiculous "POPS", and 3-4 "Savage World" figures (which are usually lumped in with the NECA toys, I guess because they're "horror" and whoever stocks the shelves isn't paying close attention).

A lot of the "Target Exclusive" or "GameStop Exclusive" toys somehow end up being sold at the FYE at the mall over here - although a bit more expensive - so in a worst case I can try looking over there. With disc-based media in decline, about 40% of the FYE has been morphing into a toy store. They generally sell those "exclusives" for about $5-10 more than the stores they probably bought them from, but I guess it makes sense, shady as it may be.

So anyone looking around, you may wanna check your local FYE if you have one, or even your local comic shop. These sets may be "Target Exclusives" but I bet many other stores will still sell them, if you're okay paying a slight "hassle fee".

My target(s) usually are pretty sparse with the figs in the movie section.just some random figs I don't care about from video games, Funko pops, and some old Terminator figs that are obscure even for Terminator fans.

Has NECA said anything about moving forward beyond these two packs? I'd love to get some characters outside of the turtles and main villains for once.

I think Randy was talking about foot army builders and Bebop/rocksteady foot 2 packs.

Be prepared to Shell out(pun intended) for more foot soldiers than you dreamed of. No complaints here though.

“There will be a wave two later in the year. Rocksteady and Bebop are part of that wave..... We have about I wanna say somewhere around eighteen other figures that are either done or in development right now a mix of cartoon and movie but we have a whole lot more in the pipeline.”

Nothing at my Target Saturday. There wasn't even a whole where TMNT had been. It got restocked a few week or so ago though. Still a lot of that there. Seems like they are stocking too much older stuff and not enough new. Lots of Freddy, Jason, and Gremlins Gizmo. Toys R US was like that here too.

Disappointing. Seems like that’s as far as any “serious” TMNT line ever gets.

Did you forget about the dimension x set? No doubt these will be repacked as target two packs down the line.

It's funny to me (not funny to those who want these sets and haven't found them yet) that I found these pretty easily at the 2nd Target I went to than finding any of the 2nd wave of the current TMNT line. I've been to almost every Walgreens, Target and Walmart around me and still see the 1st wave on shelves. Oh well.

The Dimension X set is done in video game style with the pixalized sculpts, right? Or am I remembering things incorrectly? I don't think that would fit in with these OT-inspired toys.

Those are in the VGA series, though. I'm sure we'll get the characters in cartoon style but like Shredder and the Foot Soldier, they'll have some new pieces to match screen Apparence better. Especially Slash, he's more TiT then cartoon and would need a proper overhaul.

I respect what FW cartoon did for the turtles franchise but it is the most overrated and hard to watch of the 3 turtles cartoons.

It's really annoying when you have people gouging members on here and I'm going all over freaking PA wasting gas and time and coming up empty handed.
Which is more than likely the fact that every area has people like our old pal latin kings here who should have been banned for harassment ages ago.
