Sony says Amazing Spiderman will continue for a third and fourth movie by 2018
http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/06/...-release-dates
Amazing Spiderman 2 is still in production for release in 2014, and Sony has already greenlit Amazing Spiderman 3 and 4....which means there's a new movie every 2 years. So already this Spiderman movie universe will go on longer than the the first one. I hope they can do interesting things this time around if they know they're making 4 movies. Sony is clearly doing everything they can to avoid returning the rights of the movie franchise back to Marvel. |

Hyphen, man. Spider-Man. One glorious hyphenated word.

Sony will never give up these movie rights. Let's hope they actually have a plan for these movies now. I'm sure we'll get a new director at some point unless Marc Webb wants to spend so many years working on one thing.
Let's not forget, Sam Raimi was working on a 4th movie with Tobey Maguire that ended up getting replaced by Amazing Spider-Man. |

Well I am fine with this, I don't think I could tolerate another Spiderman movie reboot in a few years.
As long as the actor is willing I'd say let this Spiderman movie universe go on as long as they want to. It does the characters and villains justice when they have more time. Hopefully we get an actual good movie Venom this time around, and its inevitable we'll see a rebooting Doc Ock at some point, maybe in the third movie. |

So happy with the changes they made to Spidey's suit... it may be the best on-screen suit ever.
Electro is okay, need to see him in motion. |

Electro is based on his Ultimates version. He looks like an Engineer from Prometheus.
Definitely agree about the revised Spider-Man suit looking great. Can't wait to see what it looks like on screen. |

They need to knock off the awful f*cking corn and I'll be ok with what they're doing. Seriously, the god damn crane scene from Amazing is cringe inducing on a level terribly close to "You mess wit one of us, you mess wit ALL OF US," but at least that was a LINE and not a convoluted 5 minute scene during the climax of the film that's entirely unbelievable in any context.
Ugh. Still sour about that. |
