Disney's Descendants movie

Disney is planning to make a made for tv movie about the offspring of their characters. The main one seems to be Belle and Beast's son who believes the offspring of the villains (Cruella De Ville, Maleficent, Snow White's step-mother, and Jafar!) can be redeemed. *blinks* The names of said offspring are: Carlos, Mal, Evvie, and Jay. Oh and they all attend the same prep school along side the children of Mulan, the fairy godmother, Sleeping Beauty, and Rapunzel...amongst others.

Im guessing this isn't in the same timeline as Once Upon A Time. Also, I wanna know who the heck slept with Cruella De Ville?! ô,0 I guess Evvie would be Snow White's half sibling??

What about the Lion King? Oh wait. It's already been done. The 2nd movie never was clear about if those lions were Scar's kids.

Kovu was specifically stated not to be Scar's son, just his heir.

I'm sorry, but that sounds awful. Didn't they learn their lesson about main character offsprings from all the crappy direct to dvd sequels? I would still watch it of course, just to see how it turns out, I guess...but come on Disney, you've been doing so good recently!

EDIT: Okay, I just clicked the link...it's a Disney channel original movie...I should have known. Prepare for many corny jokes from actors and actresses from their "sitcoms"...basically, it's gonna be an extended episode of one of those without the laugh track.

Well, I might check it out just to see what happens. And I liked the Lion King sequel, though I thought it was too much of of a coincidence that Kovu looked a lot like Scar despite the claim that he wasn't Scar's son. I still say Zira mated with him and had Kovu. There's no other explanation for the way he looks.

Sounds like a commercial for Ever After High which I've seen a few times on Nick which talks about children of famous fairy tale characters, though it's only on the computer and not on TV yet. Still, I guess I'll check it out.

There's been three movies, the original, a sequel about Simba's kid, and a movie set during the first film when Simba was spending his days with Timon and Pumba

Yeah, Lion King 2: Simba's Pride and Lion King 1 1/2, They were direct to video. It was during a time when Disney went nuts and started doing direct to video sequels to some of there classic animated films.

The series goes: Lion King, Lion King 1 1/2 (the first movie from the POV of Timon and Pumba), Lion King 2 (which is about Simba and Nala's daughter), and the tv series Timon and Pumba (which lasted for 3 seasons)

The Teaser Trailer is out (nothing shown really). But man the casting for this thing. Christine Chenoweth as Maleficent and Kathy Najimi as Evil Queen....alrighty then.
